Chapter 14

Batman's (Bruce's) POV:
I watched her and I wanted to tell her. I really did, but I was afraid that she would run off to tell the joker. I couldn't have that happen. "Well, Are you gonna answer me or not?" She asked, crossing her arms, Staring at me. "Well...I want to tell you but give me your word you won't tell anyone...alright?" I said and held my breath still hesitating. "Y-you have my word" She said actually really loud.  I sighed and I was very unsure on whether to do it or not. "OK I will tell you...Just...I just have one last question before I tell you. After you answer I promise I will tell you" I said. She rolled her eyes. "Ok shoot" She said. "How did you parents die?" I asked and took a deep breath. She stared at me in surprise that I asked I guess. "T-they were shot in front of me and my b-brother" She said and looked close to crying. I gasped and stood up.

Madison's POV:
I was getting frustrated waiting to know his name so I finally said something. He said he would tell me after I answered one last question so I did. Only problem was it was about how my parents died. I told him then I just cried and couldn't stop. He stood up and I thought he was finally done and was leaving me now. Instead he walked around, He just paced back and forth in the middle of the cave. I guess he was thinking about something, Finally he picked up a phone and called someone. Moments later I heard what sounded like an elevator.
