Chapter 28

Batman's POV:
"Alfred I am fine please just let me go talk to her" I said sternly. "Master Bruce that was very dangerous for all three of us. Madison could have hurt herself as well as you or me sir!" He actually sounded worried for her safety. "She is just going through some things alfred...give her time to get control of her life....She has been through a lot" I said and looked down for a moment. I still couldn't believe I didn't even try to help her that fateful night. That's the past now Bruce, Forget it just go talk to Madison. I Thought to myself and stood up. I walked into Madison's Room to find her asleep. She must have fallen asleep While she was waiting. I smiled at first and went over to cover her up. Then I looked at her head, There was blood in her hair and a broken Pot next to her bed. I heard something and turned to see a shorter, masked man. I fought and he jumped out the window. I watched him run off and wondered how he even made it out alive. We were on the first floor of the manor, but still high up. I picked Madison up and practically ran to Alfred, He knew more about healing wounds than I did, I never heal my own wounds. "What.." He began to ask but I interuppted him. "Just help her Alfred...I will explain later." I shot him a look when I said it. Alfred cleaned her up and wrapped part of her head with cloth. We both sat there and even though she was passed out he got her to drink water and get hydrated. I Watched her over the entire night waiting for her to wake up. I needed to know if she knew who the man was. If so, How did he find her? I had questions running through my head and I was tired, but knew I couldn't sleep, not now. I began to worry when it became morning and she wasn't awake yet. I almost considered getting adrenaline for her. You can't do that Bruce...you would giver her a heart attack trying to do something like that! I told myself. I waited and Waited and around 10 Am she began to wake up.
