Chapter 16

Batman's (Bruce's) POV:
Aparently the joker made a move at the hospital. Apparently some people were hurt while he was breaking someone out. I drove quickly to the hospital and the cops were all there. I went in and the boy I helped stood there with gun pointed towards me. "No closer Batman...Thanks for the help but stay back" He said threateningly. "Also...what did you do with Madison?...my father is looking for her" He said turning his head slightly and I saw the joker come into sight. He turned back and smiled devilishly. The joker made the same, more threatening smile. "Jason...hand me the gun...you can leave now..." The joker turned to him. His son looked back and he looked angered and kicked the gun towards him. He stomped out and we heard gun shots. I honestly hoped it wasn't anything serious. I turned to go see if it was OK outside but then the joker stopped me. "No no no Batman...Don't do that...Don't want anyone getting hurt now do we?" He said and laughed. "How's your little sister?" He asked and laughed psychotically "Who?" I asked trying to sound like I don't know what he was talking about. How does he even know my identity? Does he really know?

Madison's POV:
I sat there waiting for the older man to say something. "Well, Since we are alone...What's your name young lady?" He asked me with a accented voice. I looked at him and I was kind of hesitant, but I felt a small trust towards him. "Madison... My names Madison... what's yours?" I asked and was trying to be polite and kind. He laughed a bit. "Beautiful name. My name is Alfred Pennyworth." He said in his accented voice. I stared at him and then I started to remember. "Alfred? As in The Wayne's butler?" I asked and looked at him with bright eyes. "Why Yes. How did you know that miss? Does Bruce know you? I have seen many people come and go from the manor. " He said to me turning his head to the side slightly. "Alfred...don't you know me?" I asked confused. "Why no...I'm sorry miss should I? " He said and looked at me clearly sorry. I can't believe it...he doesn't remember me...well, it has. been 11 Years so I guess I can't blame him. "I'm Madison ..Madison Wayne..." I said. He stared at me. Just then Batman came rushing into the cave. I looked at Alfred and we both looked in Batman's direction. "Alfred...Take Madison upstairs" He said quickly. We looked at each other. "Um upstairs what why?!" I said kind if panicking. "Just please go with Alfred. If you go you can know my name finally. " He said and I ran after Alfred. I was convinced I knew who I was talking to. We went upstairs and my mind was flooded with flashbacks and memories.
