Bruce's (Batman's) POV:
I looked up and Madison slowly walked through the door. I tilted my head a bit waiting for her to say something, but instead she jumped on the bed and hugged me. "Don't...Don't let me go insane" Was all she said and I could feel her crying into my shoulder. I hugged her tightly. and whispered "Its OK Mads...I won't" In her ear. She let go and wiped away tears. I looked at her for a second and then her face changed. she looked at me differently and backed up. I looked at her and started to get up. she just started shaking and shakily pointed to the window behind my bed. It was just starting to get dark when I saw a man hiding behind the trees that outlined the Wayne manor's property. The man had green hair and was wearing a purple suit. I closed the blinds and locked the window tightly. I looked back to Madison and she slid down the door still shaking. I tried to help her up and instead picked her up and carried her to her room. "Madison...Will you be alright if I leave you for a second?" I asked her. She nodded still shaking. I walked into the kitchen to talk to Alfred and came back into Madison's room to see her fast asleep. I left her be and decided to talk to her in the morning.

Madison's POV:
I hugged Bruce tightly and just cried until I let go and saw what looked to be the joker. he was staring at me through the window from behind the trees. I didn't know what to say or do so I just pointed shakily. Bruce decided that he needed to take me to my room. He carried me like a child but I didn't care , at that point I was way to frightened. He layed me down and asked if I would be alright to be alone a few minutes. He left and I was rather tired and fell asleep before he returned. I had nightmares about The joker coming for me again and alot of horrible things happening to me, Bruce, even Alfred. I was very fearful but then I thought about something else. I hadn't been to school for months. I had started school because of Harley. Harley at least seemed like she cared. Whether she was drunk or not when she did it I didn't know but I know she kind of helped me and Jason out but of course Jason was her son. She treated me like her child but I hated it, I always had. I had a family and I knew that and I was determined to find my brother. I was finally home with my brother, I thought I would feel safe and forget about the joker and Harley and Jason, but I didn't feel any more safe than when I was living in the streets. I knew one thing though. I needed to talk to Bruce.
