Bruce's (Batman's) POV: I woke up when I heard the door open and Madison had Blood on her hands. I looked at them and then gave her a stern look. She smiled awkwardly. "I kinda got into a fight. Two boys attacked me Bruce. So I punched them to get away" She said and looked at the ground. She probably thought she was gonna get in trouble, but I was proud of her for sticking up for herself. At the same time, I wasn't sure if it was the good side of her or the bad side from the joker who did it. I was afraid to know. I kissed her on the head and then she went to her room and I guess she fell asleep cause I didn't see her all night.
Madison's POV:
I walked in and Bruce met me at the door. I had forgotten about the blood on my hands and had no time to hide it. Bruce saw them and I told a small lie. I said the boys attacked me, which they hadn't done. I wanted to tell Bruce about Jason and the two boys but I didn't think any danger was caused by them. I ran through Jason's warning though once more in my head and went to my room and right asleep. I woke up to hear a noise in the kitchen. I got up and looked to Bruce's room, I couldn't decide to wake him or go investigate by myself. I wish I would have woken him up, I walked into the kitchen and felt pain then everything went black. Before I fell unconscious, I Thought about how I was dumb to not wake Bruce and who could have done this even though I didn't see their face.
