"Where are we going?" Tristan asked as he grabbed another bag from the garage and tossed it into the back of the moving van.
Jared stopped and looked back at him, "Somewhere safe."
"I thought we were safe here?" Tristan smiled back at Jared.
"Ok smartass." Jared walked past him putting the box into the truck.
"So Jordana just said that the house is ready for us." Cassie said walking out into the garage.
Jared looked back at her, "What about Jensen and the kids?"
"Avery and Emmett are with her."
"You know this isn't what JJ needs." Jared glanced over at Tristan.
Tristan nodded his head as he went back into the house.
Cassie glanced back at Jared, "Jordana knows something about JJ and it kinda scares me."
"You think JJ could be covering something?"
"No, I think Jordana is covering to protect JJ. I really don't think Jensen can understand the dangers that are coming for that kid. I mean Danneel was crazy enough but Boone? He was risky and always running after the sunset. He couldn't remain still and since the fact that he knew Danneel before Jensen that just means that Danneel was using him."
Jared glanced back at her, "This was planned all that time before?"
"Matt and Avery are about the same age. That's 18 years in the works Jared."
"Someone had to take a lot into account."
"Someone is playing this the way they want it." Cassie walked over to Jared. "It is something we will never understand."
"The Gods aren't happy about this." Jared looked down at her.
Cassie nodded her head back at him, "No, they aren't."
Jared reached over grabbing her arm, "We will be ok in Texas."
Cassie glanced up at him, "I hope so."
Across town, Aurelia knocked on Landon's door as he was on the floor with his headphones.
"Hey!" Aurelia shouted down at him.
Landon pushed his headphones back, "Is it time to leave?"
"Almost, you everything packed?"
"Yea, I just can't believe we have to move. Again."
Aurelia nodded her head back at him, "I'm sorry about this Landon."
"Hey Mom, is Jordana right about this? Is it gonna be safe there?"
"I can't tell yet." Aurelia glanced down at him.
"Are we ever gonna be safe?"
Aurelia didn't say a word.
Landon got up from the floor, "Everyone has changed since Jordana arrived. When the Gods showed up everyone shut down. We can't be the next generation when our parents are shutting down."
