32. That I Must Be Outta My Mind

There was only a grunt heard as Jax flipped him over.

    Jared looked up as Stephen was at the other end of the room.

    Jax looked Jared in the eyes, "Can you move?"   

    Jared pointed back at Stephen, "How are you?"

    Stephen glared back at Jared, "I'm glad we talked that over a few years ago."

    Jax narrowed his eyes back at Jared, "You knew about Tristan?"

    "Yea, the kid looks nothing like me and when he was 3 he grabbed a bow and shot a bird out of the back yard." Jared looked back at Jax.

    Stephen rubbed the back of his head, "Like I said before, I didn't know she was your wife."

    "That is over with, I don't need to talk about that now. We have bigger problems." Jared rubbed his wrists as Jax went over to Stephen to undo his restraints.

    "I don't know how happy you will be when you find out that they used Aurelia."

    Jared and Stephen looked back at Jax.

    Jax glanced back at them, "They wanted her to get whatever in Jordana was sleeping awake and they did it."

    "That is why the place shook a while back." Jared looked back at him.

    Stephen dropped his head, "Fuck, Jordana told me about that. That if they woke her up that she was gonna kill everything. It is the darkness in her. If they push her far enough then it would take over."

    "Can we still save her?" Jax asked them.

    Stephen didn't say a word as they heard cries from outside the door.

    "We need to leave." Jax said back to them.

    Stephen grabbed his gear by the door, "You good Hercules?"

    Jared cracked a smile at him as they went out the door.

    Jax looked down the hallway as there was an explosion, "We go the other way."

    Jared looked back as several guards fought with someone or something.

    "FUCK YOU!"

    Jared stopped when he heard the voice.

    Stephen stopped infront of him, "The fuck was that?"

    "You heard her too?"

    Jax looked back at them. "What are you doing move!"

    Jared pointed down the hallway, "That was Genevieve. That was her voice!"

    "They are called mocking jays for a reason." Jax said back to them.

    Stephen pointed back at Jared, "I know that voice. That was her."

    "GET OFF OF ME!"

    Jared shook his head, "We have to go back."

    Jax looked at him, "Dude we are going right to them!"

    "If that is my wife, I need to help her."

    Stephen glared back at Jax, "That is the mother of my son and the mother of his sons, we need to look."

    "You guys are all fucked in the head." Jax said back to them.

    Jared cracked a smile as Jax went down the hallway back to the chaos.

    Stephen stayed back as Jax looked around the corner.
