27. I am a Good Boy

"Another dead end." Landon tossed the paper to the side as Emmett looked up from the laptop.

Thomas walked out the kitchen with a few things in his hands, "I don't get this. Jax told us to come here."

Shep walked down the steps, "There is nothing here."

Landon pointed back at Shep, "This is fucking ridiculous Emmett."

Emmett put the papers down as his phone went off.

It was Mavi.

Emmett unlocked his phone, "We got nothing."

"Then come back to the hotel. We may have a way into Rome."

Emmett looked up at the others, "They may have something."

"God, I hope it is food. I missed breakfast." Landon said as they went out the door.

Thomas glared back at him, "You are actually your father man."

Shep laughed as they went down to the car.

Back at the hotel, Avery sat on the floor as Mavi was behind her on the couch.

JJ was pacing back and forth as Tristan was on the bed looking back at them.

Jax walked into the room as he put his phone down, "Where are the others?"

"They are on their way." Avery said back to him.

Matt glared back at Avery, "Are we even sure about this?"

Avery shook her head when the hotel door unlocked.

Emmett looked back at his sister as the others walked in behind him.

Jax nodded his head, "Good, you are back."

Landon glared back at him, "We got nothing from that place and we have been in this little hell you call Georgia for 2 weeks now!"

Jax glared back at him, "It isn't easy to do this."

Avery looked up at Landon, "None of us like living in a hotel but we have to trust him. Mom does and we have to."

Landon glared back at her, "Then how are we getting to Rome?"

Jax nodded his head, "I got us a little private jet that will be the way to Rome."

"So it took 2 weeks?" Landon looked back at him.

Avery got up from the floor, "Walk it off Landon."

Landon pointed back at Jax, "They are going to be dead because you took 2 FUCKING WEEKS to get a plane."

Emmett grabbed Landon as Jax just stood there.

Avery stepped between the two, "Landon, we are finally getting there."

"And we will find their bodies. They didn't waste this much time when we were taken." Landon glared down at her.

"They were trained, we aren't." Avery said back to him.

Landon glanced down at her.

"If you don't trust him then trust me."
