That's my boyfriend

Chapter 9

"Yes, yes sure I will! Oh you're such a nice guy, Will, I like you so incredibly much!" I said, and leaned in and kissed him. I can't believe it! I have a boyfriend!

"Oh god, Katie, I can't believe it. I've only really known you for like what..? A week or something, and I have completed fallen for you! I can't explain my feelings, you mean so much to me, and I can never let you go," he said as he held my head in both his hands. Then he leaned in and crushed his lips on mine. We sat like that kissing for minutes; we couldn't get enough of each other.

After a while, Will pulled back, and looked me deeply into my eyes.

"Would you mind sleep over at my place tonight," he asked innocently.

"I would love to, but I promised ma to come home tonight," I said, and made a sad face.

"Okay. Well then I'll just drive you home, finish with that ice cream?" he asked, and I shook my head yes.

He paid, and we walked hand in hand to the car. He turned on the radio, and the song ‘Wonderful tonight’ came on.

"Oh my darling, you look wonderful tonight!" Will sang along, and looked me deeply into my eyes. I couldn't help but lean in and kiss him softly. Our lips fitted perfectly together.

"Oh my darling, you are wonderful tonight," I sang between kissing him.

"You have a beautiful voice," he said as he started the car and drove out of the parking lot.

"Thank you! You too actually!" I said and smiled at him. He really had, no kidding! After a while, we arrived outside my house. He took my hand, and made circles on the back of it with his thumb. It felt so good. I love his gentle touch.

"So, do you think I can meet both your parents on… say Sunday?" he asked and made puppy eyes. His eyes, his eyes! I love them, they are so perfect!

"Yeah, that sounds great," I said, and touched his lips with mine. I got out of the car, and walked up to my house. I was so tired I walked into my room and fell down on my bed though it was only nine.

"There he is!" ma whispered to me. She is so cute when she is excited!

"What the heck?" I said as I saw what he was wearing. It was a bloody military uniform, and he had blood all over his face and down his neck. He looked around, and suddenly his eyes fell on us. A big smile appeared on his face, and he actually started to run towards us!

"God! I've missed you so much!" he said, and pulled us all into a bone-crushing hug. A huge smile appeared on my face, and my eyes filled with happy tears. I had missed him so much, but I hadn't realised how much until just now.

"You can't understand how much I've missed you all!" he said, and let go. Tim took my hand; he was a little uncomfortable with it all.

"We have missed you too, so much!" I said, and a tear escaped from my eye. Damn it, don't cry now!

"Yes we have, you have no idea! It is so good to have you back, Jack," ma said. Ha! I wasn't the only one crying!

"Oh, Elina!" he said, and I pulled Tim with me to get dads bags from the bond. They soon joined us, and the bags came. Soon we were out of the airport, and on our way home, the whole family together.

Dad parked the car, and we helped him with his bags.

"So, explain the uniform," I said and laughed a little as we all sat down in the couch.

"Nothing special, I played a military man in the second world war, and hadn't time to change cause I had to catch a plane to get home to my dear family," he explained and kissed moms forehead. "So, any news here? You have grown so much Tim, I can't believe it, you're a big boy now!" he said, and made Tim blush and look down.

"Well, I think Katie has some good news," ma said and winked at me. For a moment I didn't know what she meant, then I realised it, Will! "She has just gotten a boyfriend, and I think you will be happy to know who it is," she said, and smiled at me.

"My little girl has a boyfriend, well he better stay out of my way!" dad joked.

"You know Paul and Caroline Barnes right? It's their son!" mum said, and smiled at him.

"No way! Paul’s son? We were best friends in college, yeah, he was the biggest idiot and best man I ever knew!" he said and laughed for some reason.

"You have no idea how god it is to have you back dad, but I'm practically falling asleep now, and I think Tim is doing the same, so good night, see you tomorrow!" I hugged him, and grabbed Tim’s hand and lead him into the bathroom. We brushed our teeth, and I followed him into his room. He got under cover, and I sat down beside him.

"It is awkward and uncomfortable now, but soon it will be just fine, you only have to get to know him better," I said, and he nodded with big eyes. I kissed his forehead and walked to my room. My god! Dad is really home, and he will stay for a year, I can't believe it, I am so glad!"
