Chapter 16

"So, what are we gonna do today?" I asked when we sat around the breakfast table.

"I don't know... There is a beautiful deciduous here, maybe we could take a picnic there or something," Will suggested.

"Yeah, if it's close, cuz I don't want to walk for hours, if you know what I mean," Alice said.

"Yeah sure, I think it's 40 minutes or something," Will said.

"Sounds okay," She said, and it was settled. We packed some small bags with food and water and stuff, and I actually brought the guitar! Soon we were on our way.

"Shit! Damn it!" I screamed. I've tripped like a million times, what's wrong with me?

"You okay, babe? I can take the guitar, you'll definitely break it if you keep falling all the time," Will asked, and helped me up.

"Yeah, I think so... and thank you, that's probably a good idea," I tried to walk. "I sprained my ankle a little, but I can walk if I take it easy," I said.

"I can carry you, if you want, clumsy," Ricky teased.

"Yes please," I said, and laid my arm around his shoulders, and jumped so that he had to catch my feet under my knees. "Thank you! I don't know what I should have done without you!" I said dramatically.

"I always help damsels in distress, you know," he said, and winked. "Okay, start walking, I don't want to use my strength just standing here, come on."

"I was kidding, you know," I said, when he started to walk.

"We don't want you to break your leg, let him carry you. Rather him than me," Will said.

"Oh, you're always so nice, Will!" I said ironic. Ricky carried me for a while, till I insisted on walking myself again, and what happened? I started tripping again, well, well, someone have to be clumsy, why not me? Ugh!

At 01:05 pm we reached a beautiful spot in the deciduous. The sun was floating through the leaves, and there were nice places to sit. We sat down, and the boys laid blankets on the ground, so we could sit on them.

I started to play I'm yours by Jason Mraz, and soon everybody sat there singing, even the boys!

"I'm yours!" I finished, and kissed Will softly on the lips.

"And now, the fantastic Zara Park!" Ricky said. "What do you want to sing? Kat can play anything."

"I'm not singing anything!" she protested.

"Just give me a reason, then," I said, and started to play it. After a little while, she started to sing. First very low, but she got more confident, and soon her beautiful voice and the soft guitar was the only thing we could hear.

"That was amazing!" Lizzy said, and everybody agreed.

After a while with joking, and having fun, Alice and Zara started to prepare lunch.

We sat on the blankets, eating and listening to the nature. I laid down with my head on Will's lap, and he played with my hair.

"This is so relaxing!" Lizzy said after a while. She laid with her head on my stomach.

"I know, I feel so sleepy!" Alice agreed.

"Uhm... gurlz, where did Ricky and Zara go?" Will suddenly asked.

"You've got to be kidding me!"

"Awe, I think they're cute."

"I think we should go back now," We heard Zara in the distance.
