“Hey, I had a great time yesterday,” a deep, familiar male voice whispered into my ear as I picked up my math books.. I turned around and stared right into his blue eyes.
“Me too,” I said with a smile.
“Let me take the books for you, which classroom?” he asked. That was really sweet of him!
“No, you don’t…” I started, but he took the books from my arms, looked at them, and started walking towards maths hall.
“I insist,” he said cocky, and winked at me. Yeah, I really like this new Will! Damn, I really do… I followed him to my classroom, and reached for the books.
“Not before you say ‘thank you’!” he teased.
“Thank you,” I said in a jokingly voice.
“And,” he said and handed me the books. “I’ll catch up with you in lunch, see ya!” then he turned, and walked back down the hall. I started at his back for a second before I entered the classroom.
I hate not having maths with any of my friends! I have no one to talk to! I opened my book, and laid my head on the desk. I hate, I hate, I hate maths!

“Katie, you should be more careful! Don’t let him in that easy!” Alice whispered to me for the hundred time during science.
“I’m not, okay? Can we leave it there? It was just an innocent trip to the mall!”
“I think you mean fall, like fall in love again, Katie, can’t you please just…”
“Miss Trey, will you talk a little louder? I can’t hear what you are saying,” Mrs White said.
“I don’t want you to hear what I said, but I’ll shut up,” Alice said. I’ll always admire how easy she says things like that to the teacher, I thought as I looked giggling at her.
“Is something funny, Ms McLaine? Can you tell me the joke too, I love jokes!” Mrs White said with a fake sugar voice.
“I’m sorry,” I said and looked down at my desk, not able to hold back a smile.
“Katie!” Alice whispered, and gave a piece of paper to me. I opened it, and read it.
I just want you to not fall too easily, okay? He doesn’t know you yet, and I’m not sure you know him as well as you think you do… Look at him with some kind of a critical eye, if not it will be so easy for him to break your heart, if he isn’t serous of course. Please? Please? Please?
I got mad. I have no idea why I got so mad. I turned the paper to write something back to her.
STOP TALKING TO ME!!! STOP TELLING ME WHAT I SHOUD DO!!! AND STOP BEING SO FUCKING NEGATIVE ABOUT HIM, YOU HAVE NO REASON TO!!!
I gave it back to her, and looked for her reaction. Her eyes widened, and she looked angry. She looked straight into my eyes, and lifted her middle finger. She curled the paper into a ball and threw it at me.
“Ms Trey, what are you doing? Pick that up!” Mrs White said. Alice didn’t answer, but rose, grabbed her bag, her books, and marched out of the classroom. Mrs White went back to teaching, not even bothering calling Alice back. She’s in deep trouble, Mrs White is cruel. Well, she certainly deserves it! After hours – well, it felt like hours – the lunch bell rang. I packed my stuff, and went around to find Will.
“Hey, you coming?” Lizzy asked.
“No,” I answered angrily. “I’m sitting with Will.”
