The thirteenth

On the twelfth, everything was fine.
A revolution had started, our hearts were all joyous.
We all kissed them goodbye, thinking we'll see again soon.

But the thirteenth took everything away,
The wolf broke his cage, and ran out.
He bit them all,
Some are still there,
Others are gone, but the all have that same scar.
That scar that was made by the wolf.
He still is running wild, and maybe he'll bite again.
He has done enough casualities for us to be on our knees.
And we all say we'll stand up again,
But I know that I will still wear forever,
The scar that the wolf left me.

Now on the fourteenth,
We are trying to mend our hearts,
And I'm still trying to find a way,
To go back to the twelfth.
To save the ones I've lost,
Or at least kiss them goodbye.
