Drink-related words

술 [sul] - alcohol (in general)

음료수 [eumryosu] - soft drinks (in general)

Now, smart phrases

술 + 마실까요? = 술 마실까요?

[sul] + [masilkkayo?] = [sul masilkkayo?]

(alcohol) + (shall we drink ...?) = (Shall we drink alcohol?)

잔 [jan] - glass; cup -- also as a counting unit; a glass of

병 [byeong] - bottle

//lagyan mo lang ng "한" [han] sa unahan ng "잔" [jan] or "병" [byeong] to indicate the article "a" (e.g., 한 잔 [han jan] means "a glass/cup" while 한 병 [han byeong] means "a bottle") gets?//

커피숍 [keopisyop] - coffee shop -- most likely serving soft drinks only, like Starbucks

찻집 [chatjip] - tea house -- most likely serving Korean/herb tea

카페 [kape] - café -- soft drinks and liquer, some meal

술집 [suljip] - bar -- a generic term for bars in different types

차 [cha] - tea (parang katulad lang dito sa 'tin, 'no? "tsaa" hehe)

콜라 [kolla] - cola

사이다 [saida] - sprite or 7-up (un-cola)

쥬스 [jyu seu] - juice as in orange juice (most likely when you don't specify it)

맥주 [maek ju] - beer

소주 [soju] - soju -- a typical Korean hard liquer. Transparent. (I'm pretty sure that all or most of you know this.)

맥걸리 [maek geol li] - milk-colored liquer made of fermented rice

와인 [wain] - wine, alternatively called p'oh-doh-joo (grape-liquer)

양주 [yangju] - Western hard liquer in general such as whiskey, brandy, burbon, etc. (you need to specify it)

마실까요? [ma sil kka yo?] - Shall we drink ...? (okay, yan na yung kanina)

할까요? [hal kka yo?] - Would you like to do/eat/drink ...?

못 마셔요. [mot ma syeo yo] - I cannot drink.

안 마셔요. [an ma syeo yo] - I don't drink.
