Chapter 1

Alright, what's goin' on dudes! This is my first fanfiction I've ever written so, it's probably not be as good as others. Anywho, I hope you like the story! :D

Hailey's POV

I plopped down in the seat near the window. I was truly excited. I was flying out to the beautiful city Los Angeles! The flight will last about 3 hours, so I decided to throw my beats on over my head & sleep.

I woke up about 30 minutes later. Ugh. I grabbed my laptop out of my carry on bag, & started up Minecraft. Portal 2 & Minecraft have always been my two favorite games. I even had my own YouTube channel dedicated just for playing video games. Just as I was about to start chopping down a tree, someone beside me faintly said "creeper to your right". I whispered thanks & killed the creeper. I then realized someone kept eying me. So I turned to see a guy sitting in the seat beside me. Wow, I have to admit. He was cute. His gorgeous brown eyes, the beanie on top of his slightly messy hair, muscular arms. Just, wow. Hailey! Say something!! What seemed like forever, staring into each others eyes, I soon spoke up.

"Uhm, thanks." I said shyly.

"No problem! You play too?" He said.

"Yeah! All the time!" I said, more relaxed.

We talked for the rest of the flight. Then the flight attendant came on over the speaker telling us to buckle up, & that we will be landing soon.

"Oh pardon me! My name is Jordan. Jordan Maron."

"I'm Hailey Leonard. Nice to meet you Jordan!"

We both laughed. We kept talking until it was time to grab our bags & abandon the plane.

I started to reach for my suitcase, just when Jordan grabbed it. For a second, our hands touch. I slightly blush & tilt my head down. Quickly pulling my hands back & saying, "oh sorry." He chuckled & said "it's fine."

We walked out into the airport together, bags in hand. He handed me a slip of paper.

"What's this?" I ask.

"My phone number & Skype. Maybe we could do an adventure map or something together!" Jordan replied.

"That sounds fantastic!" I was actually sad that we had to part ways. So I decided to ask him what he's doing in LA.

"So why'd you fly into LA?" I ask.

"I live here." He laughed.

"Oh." I said a little embarrassed. "I flew out here because I'm moving into an apartment complex on [insert street name here]."

"Oh my gosh, what? I live on that street too!"

"WHAAAAAT?? Do you live in [insert apartment complex name]?"

"Yes!!!" He said very excitedly.

"Wow!! That's pretty crazy!" I said. I was actually super happy about this. I haven't even been in LA for a day, & I've already met this amazing guy, & turns out, he lives in the same apartment complex I'm moving into.

"This will be pretty nifty for playing da video gamezz." He said in a derpy voice.

I laughed & said, "quite nifty indeed, sir!"

That made him laugh. Then I could see his smile. Wow, dat smile. Just seeing him laugh, made me smile & slightly laugh, too.

After about an hour of dumb airport security, we reached the doors. He asked me if I needed a ride, & I told him I could just easily take a cab. But he insisted on driving me there, so I eventually caved in & let him.

Once we reached the car, I smiled.

"Something wrong?" Jordan said.

"No! This is a CL65 AMG Mercedes Coupe, right?" I said, noticing I probably just totally freaked him out. But I love cars.

"Yep!! Wow, how did you know that?!?"

"I just like cars."

"Me too!" He said while laughing.

Once Jordan parked inside the parking garage, he quickly jumped out of the car & ran around to open my door. I stepped out & said, "why thank you kind sir!" in a British accent.

"You're quite welcome, m'lady." He replied, mocking my British accent.

We headed into the lobby. I had to go up to the front desk to ask for my key. As soon as I got it, Jordan hurriedly asked my what floor I was on. I told him "floor 9, room 13B."

"I live on floor 9 too! And also, room 15B. So that means you live right across the hall from me!" He said excitedly.

"Yaaa!!!!" I replied & laughed afterwords.

Once I reached my apartment, he helped me get all my bags in & whatnot.

"Do you need any help setting up things?" Jordan asked.

"Oh yeah, I probably do, if you don't mind? But can we start in the morning? I'm still a little jet lagged."

"Oh yeah totally. You get some rest, you look like you need it. Goodnight, Hailey."

"Goodnight Jordan!" I said as I close the door behind him.

I fell onto the couch & immediately fell asleep.
