Chapter 28

Jordan's POV

I woke up next to a sleeping Hailey while bundled up in blankets. I unwrapped my arm from around her waist, got up and walked into the bathroom. As I was washing my face I remembered Hailey and I were going to look at a new house today, so I walked back into our bedroom and woke her up.

I crawled on top of the figure under the brown sheets and kissed her hairline, "honey wake up," I said.

I saw her lips form into a small, gentle smile while replying with, "I'm too tired."

I hopped off the bed and put on some jeans and a shirt, since I sleep in my boxers. "We're going to look at a house today, remember love?"

"Ugh," was all I heard from under the covers.

*time skip*

Once we arrived to the house I looked at online, I was thoroughly impressed by how much it pleased me in person.

"Well, first impressions honey?" I ask my wife while taking her hand in mine.

"It's beautiful!" She smiled. It was a huge Spanish style home located on the hill overlooking all of Los Angeles.

"This house is 3000 sq. feet, 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, and is priced at 1.5 million," said the realtor. "This beautiful home sits on a spacious lot and you even have your own pool and hot tub in the backyard!"

Once going through the house and getting a description from the very optimistic realtor, Hailey and I were ready to sign and pay.

*time skip once again (about 3 weeks)*

Hailey's POV

It's our last day in Jordan and I's apartment, so we've been spending these past few hours packing up everything. It took us about 3 weeks to finalize buying our first home together, longer than I expected.

"Sweetie will you come help me pack up our computers?" Asked Jordan from the computer room.

"Yeah totally babe," I said while skipping in. When I walked in he was bent over the back of the desk trying to unhook wires, so I saw the perfect opportunity to come up and smack his butt.

"Holy shit you scared me," he said while laughing and turning his head around. "I'm gonna have to get you back." He dropped the wires and started to reach out to grab me but I quickly shot out the door and down the hall. He followed me into the bedroom and tackled me on top of the bed. "You bad girl," he playfully smirked while hovering over me. I giggled and said, "I know."

He leaned in and planted a gentle kiss on my lips while tracing the outline of my jaw and slowly moving down to my stomach. Once he reached the hem of my shirt, I spoke up. "Babe we need to pack."

"Nah," he said, earning a giggle from me. "Yeah we do," I smiled.

So with that, we spent the rest of the hours packing up and getting ready to move into our newly purchased home.
