Chapter 18

Hailey's POV

We've been home for about a month now, after a couple weeks in the hospital. Me and Jordan have been doing fantastic, too. Jordan's ankle has still been bothering him a little, but at least he can walk on it. Other than that, we're great. We let the fans know that we haven't died, we were just injured quite badly. But we're okay now.

I was laying in bed watching TV, waiting for Jordan to get back. He went to go grab some takeout for us, then he said we'll watch a movie or something. Then I heard the door open, turning my head to find Jordan.

"Hey babe," he called out.

"Hey," I said as I got out of bed and walked into the kitchen where he was.

I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist and laid buried my face in his upper back. He turned around and picked me up to where my legs were now wrapped around his waist. I leaned my forehead against his and whispered, "I love you."

"I love you too, so much," he said. My lips lightly rubbed his, teasing him a little bit.

He pulled back and playfully said, "teasing isn't nice."

I just smirked and leaned closer, kissing him passionately this time. Once he pulled back, he smiled and told me, "lets eat."

I walked over and sat down on the couch that was behind his dinning table. Apparently Jordan's mom gave him the couch, and he already had the white leather one from IKEA. He didn't want to just get rid of it, so he stuck it behind the table, and uses it as a seat to eat at. He's so weird sometimes, but I love that about him.

He walked over with the plates in his hands and sat down beside me on the sofa. I lifted my knees up and curled up beside him, as he wrapped an arm around my waist, and we began to eat.

We were laying in bed because we just finished watching a movie, and we were talking about random stuff.

"So what days are Minecon?" Jordan asked.

"Uh, November 2nd and 3rd, I believe," I told him.

"Ok. That's only 3 months!" He exclaimed.

It was the beginning of August, and of course, the LA weather was not nice at all. As soon as you step outside, you immediately start sweating bullets. It's crazy. I slightly laughed at that weird statement I thought.

"What are you laughing at?" He asked curiously.

"Nothing. Anyways, yeah, just 3 months! I'm so excited that it's in Paris this year!" I smiled enthusiastically. I've never been to Paris before, neither has Jordan. So this will be a first for both of us. But, it will be both our 2nd Minecraft convention.

"I'm so excited too! It'll be amazing. Not only will I be going to Minecon, meeting a lot of awesome fans, and be in Paris. I'll be doing it all with the love of my life," he said happily.

Love of my life? Awww! I couldn't help but smile at his choice of words. I really did love this guy. It's crazy how much my life has changed these past 7 months. But they've been the best 7 months of my life. "I love you so much," I told him.

"I love you too baby."

And with those words, I fell asleep resting my head on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat.
