Chapter 19

Hey guys! So, I already wrote this chapter, then Wattpad decided to be a douchebag, and delete it -__-

So I had to rewrite it ya! Anyways, read on & hope you enjoy it!

Jordan's POV

In about 2 months, me and Hailey will be flying out to Paris to attend Minecon. I'm super excited, plus I have something special in mind.

I grabbed my phone and dialed Nick's number.

"What's up man," Nick's voice rang through my ears.

"I need your help. Can you just walk up here? So I can tell you in person," I told him. Nick moved from Minnesota to LA a couple months ago. He even moved in an apartment just 2 floors down from mine and Hailey's.

"Sure thing. I'll be right up."

"Thanks," I said as I hung up.

In what seemed like seconds, Nick walked through the door.

"What is it dude?" He asked while sitting down on the couch.

"Well, uh, I need you to go shopping with me. For, Hailey," I knew I sounded nervous.

"I don't know what girls like," he stated.

"Not clothes shopping," I was kind of hoping he would catch the drift here, but apparently not. "I meant, ring shopping."

"My little Jordan's gonna propose!" He shouted.

"Shut the hell up man! She's just across the hall, I don't want her to know!" I whisper yelled.

"Sorry dude," he laughed. "Of course I'll go, when?"

"Can we go now?"

"Yeah man."

And with that, I grabbed my keys, and sent a text to Hailey, telling her I'm going out with Nick for a little bit. Luckily she didn't ask why we were going out.

"This one looks pretty," Nick said while pointing at a ring.

"I like this one," I said while gesturing to another.

"How much?" I asked the clerk.

"8 grand," he stated.

"Daammnnn," Nick said while turning around slowly.

I smiled, "I'll take it."

Nick turned back around quickly to face me, "$8000? You're gonna spend $8000 on a ring?"

"Yeah," I was still smiling.

"So who is this lucky girl?" The cashier asked.

I slid my phone out of my front pocket, unlocked it, and showed him my home screen, which was a picture of me and Hailey.

"She looks like a keeper," he smiled while putting the ring in a box.

"She is," I returned the smile.

Once we got back to the complex, Nick went back home. I walked into my bedroom and opened the black velvet box to reveal the beautiful ring. It was a thin sliver ring with one huge square diamond in the middle. Then smaller diamonds around it. Hailey will love it. I quickly put it in a drawer where I knew she wouldn't find it. Now to wait until Minecon.

*skipping ahead 2 months AKA time for Minecon because I don't feel like writing everything in between*

Today was the day we fly out to Paris. Me and Hailey decided to fly out 2 days earlier, in order to sight-see Paris, since we've never been there. I was already packed, but Hailey of course wasn't quite ready. You know, girls.

"Almost ready sweetheart?" I asked her while wrapping my arms around her waist.

"Sort of," she said hesitantly.

"Sort of? What's that supposed to mean?" I smiled while leaning down to kiss her neck.

She let out an airy laugh, "it means I would get ready faster if you wouldn't distract me," she said while turning around in my arms.

"Fine! I see how it is!" I let go of her and put my arms up in the air.

She giggled, "come here." She wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled me into a deep kiss. I slid my tongue across her bottom lip, begging for entrance. She almost immediately let me in, allowing me to explore her mouth. I picked her up as she wrapped her legs around my waist, but then she pulled back.

"I need to finish getting packed," she smiled.

"Can't that wait?" I asked.

She giggled, "no! Our plane leaves in 3 hours silly!"

"Fineeeee," I moaned before kissing the tip of her nose and then setting her back down.

"Ready to go?" I asked as she walked out into the hallway.

"Yep!" She said excitedly.

"Awesome! Leggo then!"

She smiled and looped her arm in mine, while grabbing her bags and walking out the door.

Once we found a parking spot in the Los Angeles busy airport, we began walking up to the entrance, dragging out suitcases behind.

An hour of security later, we were finally boarding the plane. I looked down to see Hailey had a hand free, so I took this opportunity and grabbed it, linking our fingers together. She looked up at me and smiled, and I returned it with a small kiss on the lips.

We found our seats on the plane and plopped down in them, after placing out luggage in the compartments above. I wrapped my arm around Hailey's shoulders and laughed.

"What's so funny?" She asked me as she scrunched her eyebrows in confusion. Aw, that face is adorable.

"This reminds me of the first time we ever met," I smiled at her.

"It does, doesn't it," she smiled back. I leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips, before pulling back and saying, "I love you."

"I love you too," she said. I felt the plane jerk forwards, telling me we were fixing to take off. Next thing I know, we were gliding above the clouds, on our way to Paris, France.
