Chapter 24

Hailey's POV

I woke up in my own bed with Jordan's arms wrapped around me. As I slowly pushed the covers off me, he began to stir a little. I don't want to wake him. Eventually I made my way into the kitchen without him hearing me.

I open up all my cabinets and fridge to find nothing to eat. "Grocery shopping is essential, I guess," I thought to myself. "Eh, Starbucks will do."

I got myself ready fairly quickly, wrote a note for Jordan when he wakes up, saying that I'm going to Starbucks and back. Then made my way out the door.

I ordered a muffin and coffee, then I figured I would get Jordan something too. I walked out with two muffins, a coffee, and an orange juice. I walked back into my apartment to find Jordan stretched out on the sofa watching Netflix while eating a slice of bread.

"Hey I got you Starbucks!" I told him while holding up the bag.

"Why thank you dear," he said while shoving the rest of bread in his mouth. He got up and walked over to the counter where I was already eating my muffin.

We sat in silence for a while, enjoying our breakfast, until he spoke up. "I was thinking."

"Yes?" I said curiously.

He set his muffin down and swallowed his bite, then turned to me. "The wedding?"

I felt the corners of my mouth form into a smile, "the wedding."

"We need to plan sweetheart," he said while smiling.

Hey guys I know this is a super duper short chapter. But I think the next few chapters will be longer, so that should make up for it.

Sorry I haven't updated in a few days! This week I had exams, but now I have a 7-day break off from school!! Happy.
