Chapter 8

Alice's POV

    When I walked in I noticed that my family was already eating dinner. I  walked in. My mother looked kind of upset. My father and brothers just kept eating. "You are late young lady." I lowered my head. "I know, I am sorry. I lost track of time." "Just sit down and eat." She said. I did what she said. We talked about how are days went, I made sure not to mention Noah. My dad talked about some pack things. I didn't really pay attention. I saw that Marvin didn't either. Marvin and I don't really have to pay attention to the pack stuff really because we won't be alpha or anything unless something happens to Kyle. Once dinner was over I headed to my room. 

       I got my pajamas, and headed to my bathroom to take a bath. I sat there thinking how today went. It was pretty crazy. Emmet lied to my father, Tori knows that Noah and I are mates, and a bunch of other things happen.  I didn't get out of the tub until my fingers started to look old. Once I got out, I put my hair into a braid so it would be wavy tomorrow, and then I went to my room and sat on my window seat, and started to read my book. I paused from reading my book some, and just looked around my room. I  then noticed that something was missing off my dresser. I just didn't know what. I just kept reading a book. Once I was beginning a new chapter I heard a tap on my window. I looked to see someone on the roof at my window. I fell off my window seat. I looked up to see who it was. It was Noah. I started to calm down. I opened my window for him. He climbed in. "You sure know how to sneak up on a girl don't you. I mean I was just casually reading then all of a sudden there you were. And I was at a good part too. She was just about to solve the case, but right when I was in the sentence where she says who it was- " He put his lips on mine. His lips were soft, and his kiss was gentle, definitely not like Emmet's.  He then pulled away. "Does that make up for scaring you and not finding out who the person was in the book?" He said with his smirk. I pulled him closer to me, and press my lips against his. I pulled away. "Yes. Just don't scare me again." He smiled.He picked my book up and handed back to me, and he closed the window. "Thank you." I said. "So what have you been doing for the past couple hours. " I sat on my bed. He came to sit next to me. "Took a bath, reading, thats pretty much it." He nodded his head. We laid in my bed watching tv.  We were watching "The Walking Dead". I started to doze off in the middle of the show. I then fell asleep in Noah's arms. 

Noah's POV

   I looked over to see that Alice was sound a sleep. I decided I would finish this episode  before I leave. Once the episode was over. I turned the tv off, and slowly got off the bed making sure not to wake her up. When I was walking to the window I saw another picture. When I got a closer look at it. He was in the back ground again. Then I knew I had to see him. I must figure out what he was doing.  I climbed out of her window, and began flying. I went to go see him. Because I need a answer to why he was in those pictures with her. 

Alice's POV

I woke up in the middle of the night to see Noah, wasn't next to me anymore. I saw that my window was cracked, so I got up to close it. When I got to the window I saw a brown feather right next to it. I looked around to see if there were any bird nests near my room. I didn't see any.  I brought the feather in. I will look at  it more closely tomorrow.  After I closed the window and placed the feather in my drawer, I went back to sleep.
