Chapter 17

 I woke up to banging on my door. I groaned. "Alice get your butt up!" I heard Marvin say.  "Why?" I whined. "Because dad wants us to do some training." He replied. I rolled my eyes. "Fine. I'll be down in a little bit." I heard him walk away from my door. Once I turned my radio on, and the song "Don't You ( Forget About Me) ," by Simple Minds came on. I started dancing around singing along, while, grabbing some clothes and heading to the bathroom. Once I was done in there, I came back out doing what I was doing before , which was singing and dancing. I sat down at my vanity and started doing my hair and makeup. "You know you look cute when you are dancing." I jumped when I heard someone talk from the window.  I looked over to see who it was and it turned out to be Noah. I mentally slapped myself , because I keep forgetting to lock the window at night. I threw my hairbrush at him. "Don't sneak up on a girl like that." He quickly caught the brush before it hit him, and laughed at me.  He walked over to me and handed me my hairbrush back. "I'm sorry." He said leaning down and wrapping his arms around my neck. Which he started placing soft kisses on. "You know its very hard to stay mad at you when are kissing me. ." I felt him smirk against my neck. After a few minutes of him kissing me, I finally gave up. "Fine I forgive you." He stopped and stood back up. "Took you long enough."He said plopping down on my bed. I rolled my eyes at him, and continued to finish my makeup. After I was done I got up, and walked over to my bed to grab my phone. I saw a message from Tori saying her dad is making her train today. I sent her saying mine too.  "Well I got to go to training." I said to Noah while putting my phone in my pocket. "You are training today?" He asked. "Yeah my dad wants me too." I said heading out of my room.

After a couple minutes I heard Noah following me. "Well I'm tagging along." He said finally catching up with me. "Whatever you want." I said back. Once halfway down the stairs I felt Noah grabbed my hand in his. I smiled. "Finally you are ready, we have been waiting for forever. " Kyle said. I just ignored him and led Noah outside, where I saw Tori waiting. "I don't see why we have to train the day of prom. Like come on." She said clearly ticked off. I just shrugged my shoulders and said "I don't know, maybe because if they think that if we miss one day we would never go back to training. " "Maybe." She replied back. With that we walked to the gym, where we waited for Kyle and Marvin. I knew Kyle walked in when I saw Tori's eyes brighten up. She has a crush on him but she doesn't want to admit it.  "Earth to Tori?" I said waving my hand in front of her. She snapped out of it and I laugh. "I was staring again wasn't I?" I nodded my head. I  got off the floor, Noah and Tori did the same. "Finally, we have been waiting forever." I said kind of mocking him from what he said this morning. "Shut up." He replied. "Ok, lets head to the track. " With that him and Marvin took their shirts off which they always do before running. Tori looked at me with pleading eyes like I'm never going to survive. I laughed at her. "Just admit it already you like my brother." "I do not, " She said with clenched teeth. "Whatever." I said walking out towards the track. While walking I noticed Noah remove his shirt. Oh come on I said to myself. I turned back towards Tori who was laughing at me now. "Now who is feeling the same way as me." I rolled my eyes. "At least I admit that I like someone." She stopped laughing and stood there while I kept walking.  As walking I felt Noah wrapped his arm around my waist. "You look amazing."He whispered in my ear. I blushed. "So do you," I replied back. He gave me a smirk. Before I knew it we were at the track. "Ok let me make one thing clear, I don't want to see any people stopping and making out." Kyle said looking at me. "Why are you looking at me?" I asked. "Because you are the only one here that is dating someone." Marvin answered. "Ok we are going to do about 3 miles. " Kyle said. You got to be kidding me. I mean if we were in wolf form that would would be nothing. "Ok lets go." Marvin said. Tori and I stood there for a second. "I want to cry." Tori said while starting to do a light jog. "Same." I said doing the same as her. 

After the first mile and a half I was worn out. Kyle and the other boys were a mile ahead of me. Tori was a little bit behind me. "Come on we can do this." I said out of breath to Tori. "You are telling me, my legs feel like giving out." I decided then that I was just going to walk. Tori decided to do the same thing. I saw Noah coming by shaking his head at us. I gave him a growl. Which made him take off. I wanted to chase him, but I was just too tired. "Come on girls, you don't want to be here all day." "Shut up!" Tori said growling at Kyle. Damn she was definitely not in the mood. Kyle eventually slowed to the same pace as us. "Did you just growl at me?" He said with an amused look on his face. "Yes  I did, you can't do anything you aren't the alpha." Dang, she really has a death wish. I thought to myself. They eventually both stopped and stood facing each other. I decided to stop too. Which Marvin and Noah did the same when they came back to where we were. "Just because I'm not the alpha yet  doesn't mean I can't do anything about it." "Fine then do something." Tori snapped. I really wanted to stop this before it gets out of hand, but a small piece of me wanted to keep watching. Kyle growled. "You really have a death wish don't you?" Kyle said with a smirk. I know she does. This is it,my best friend is going to die at the hands of my own brother. It was nice knowing her. I mentally said.  "Maybe I do maybe I don't what's in it for you?" She asked. "Well you kind of threaten me, and threatening alphas or soon to be ones doesn't end very well so-" Tori cut him off by crashing her lips against his. Damn, I can't believe she is kissing my brother. Once she pulled away, she started back running. Leaving my brother in shocked, as well as the rest of us. "Alice! Come!" "I'm just going to go with her." I said slowly starting to run. "Well that was interesting. " I heard Noah say.  I smiled. Right as I got to where Tori was. Kyle came running and stopped right in front of her. Making her run into his chest. Which now she looked scared. What happened to the Tori just a few minutes ago who couldn't keep her mouth shut? I thought. I stopped. "You just kissed me." "And your point is?" There is the Tori I know and love. "You can't just kiss me and think you will get away with it now did you?" He said back. Of course Noah and Marvin stopped next to us. "Maybe I did, Maybe I didn't." She said shrugging her shoulders. Kyle smirked,and leaned next to her ear, and said in a husky voice. Which I could tell made her weak. "You know you didn't, now you get 2 extra laps for doing that." With that Kyle took off running again. Tori snapped out of her trance. I started to laugh. "You shouldn't have done that." I said once the boys left. "Shut up. It was worth it." She said blushing. I just laughed and started back running.
