Chapter 20

   It is now August, and it's my 18th birthday. Today my dad is giving his title to Kyle, and Marvin is becoming the beta. I however will still have no title. I must admit that I am upset that I'm not going to be and alpha, beta, or third in command. But I also enjoy not being one of them because it takes a lot of work.   With that,I rolled over to face a sleeping Noah.  He pretty much lives here now, well my dad still doesn't know he stays the night, but my dad did figure out from a conversation my mom and I had about me completing the mating process. Let's just say that made him not very happy, but he knew I was going to do it one day.  Noah then moved to lay on his back. He looks so peaceful sleeping.  "You are staring." Noah mumbled. I felt my face get warm.  He then turned on his side so he was facing me. "You know you are very cute when you are blushing." I smiled. "So, how do you feel with being 18 and all now?" He asked getting out of the bed. I rolled over on my back. "I feel old, I mean I just can't believe that I'm finally 18. And I'm getting ready to move." He gave me a confused looked when I said the last part. I got out of bed and walked over to him. "Well, since my brothers are going to be the alpha and beta, they move to their new houses. Which since I'm the alpha's daughter I'm able to get a new house also it just won't be near my brothers houses." "Oh. Why don't you want to live with your parents?" I smiled. "So you still want me to live here, instead of us just having our own house where you don't have to sneak around to spend the night. And there are no adults to tell us what to do..." "Ok, you have a point. It is a better option to move." I laughed. "So when do you have to move?" He asked me while I was heading towards my dresser to get my clothes. "Well, my brothers have to move tonight into the new house. I can move anytime pretty much. So whenever you want to I guess. I mean the my house is already ready like my brothers." He nodded his head. With this I went into the bathroom to get ready. 

    I turned my phone on to play some music.  I danced to this while taking a shower. Once I got out of the bathroom, I already saw Noah dressed. He was wearing a t shirt and shorts. I was wearing a tank top, and some jean shorts.  I sat down at my vanity and started to curl my hair. "You know you are a very good singer." He said with a smirk. I shot him a glance through the mirror. "Shut up." After about  15 minutes, I was finally done with my hair and makeup. "Ok, I'm ready lets go downstairs." I said turning around to find no one. 'He left with out us,' Mira said. 'I can see that. I guess we are just going to have to get him later for it.' I replied back.

 Once I got downstairs, I saw my parents and My dad's beta and third in command, in the kitchen,so I just decided to find my siblings and Noah. Which I found them in the living room playing video games. I also saw Tori sitting in Devin's lap, watching them. "There is the birthday girl!"Tori said getting off Devin's lap and coming to me pulling me into a hug. "Thanks, now can you let me go, I can't breathe." She pulled away laughing. "Oh, sorry. I'm just so happy for you. You are finally 18, and today is just an exciting day. I mean we are getting a new alpha." She said looking at my brother. "Which right now I think he is still too childish to become the alpha."  I laughed. "I agree, but there isn't anything we can do."  With that Tori and I went outside.  "So, I overheard my parents talking about houses. Which made me think of you because I know you are probably going to move also so..." "Do you want to live in my house Tori?" I asked since I knew what she was hinting at, and to be truthful I was already planning to ask if her and Devin would like to live with Noah and I. "Are you sure? I mean I don't want to come in between you and Noah finally having a house all to yourselves. " "Tori, you are my best friend, you would never come in between Noah and I. So yes, I would love you and Devin to come live with us."  "Yay! Now, we need to get this party started!" I laughed. She started to head over to where they were setting everything up. I then saw Kyle and Marvin come out. "I guess I should be a good sister and wish you two a happy birthday." "Thank you." They both said leaving to go help set up.  "What?! No happy birthday to me??" I heard Noah laugh and wrapped his arm around my waist. "They are really good brothers aren't they." I just rolled my eyes. "They are the best brother that I could ever have." I said. He laughed and whispered in my ear, "Happy birthday, babe." I smiled, and turned to face him. "Thank you." "Ok you two love birds the party is about to start, so I need all the help I can get with greeting people." My mother said. "Mom, do we have to? I mean I'm not going to be luna so I don't need to learn how to greet people." When I said that I knew I should have kept my mouth shut. She walked over to me. "You are still an alpha's daughter, and that means you are to still show respect to the pack. So it doesn't matter if you aren't the luna or not, you are going to show some respect." I nodded my head. I could see out the corner of my eye Noah trying to hold in a laugh. "Now both of you get in the house and help." "Yes ma'am. "  I replied.
