Chapter 14

       I ran as fast I could. I couldn't wait to get back to Noah and told him I didn't mean what I said. When I got to my house I noticed that everyone was inside. Teh whole pack almost. I could hear that they were planning to get me back by attacking Kayden and his men of course. I shifted behind a tree, and walked to the front porch. While walking I noticed my room light one. Which I knew I didn't leave on when I came to get the necklace. I climbed the tree near my room, and opened the window. When  I climbed in I noticed Noah was laying on my bed. He was sleeping.I saw his face was red which meant he was crying. Which that broke my heart. All I was thinking was that I did this. I caused him to feel like this. Even though I didn't mean any of it, he didn't know that. Which I felt tears falling down my face. Noah must have sense me here because he woke up. When his eyes laid on mine he shot out of the bed and pulled me to him. "Alice I don't care what you said, I will always love you and there is nothign you can do to change that. Even if you don't love me, like I love you. Just please promise me you won't leave town or soemthing like that." I could feel myself crying now. "I'm sorry." I said in between sobs. Noah pulled out of the hug and stared at me. "What?" "I didn't mean any of that stuff I said in the woods. I just had to get back in time. I'm sorry."  "So you still love me?" I nodded my head and said, "Yes dummy,I always have." I said with a half laugh. Before I knew what was happening Noah crashed his lips into mine. I kissed him back. My wolf howled with happniess how we both missed this.  When he pulled away , we were out of breath. We placed our foreheads together. "Why did you go back?" "All he wanted was a necklace back that had a very special meaning to him." I replied. "You didn't run away did you like the second time?" "No, he let me go. He doesn't want anything to do with me anymore." "Good, because you are mine." I smiled. "We should probably let your family know you are back before they go attack." I nodded my head. Right as we were heading out of my room. My mom came in. 

      "Noah I just came in here to check on you. I know how heartbroken this must be for you. I bought you some food." When my mom set the tray down on the nightstand. She turned back around and we made eye contact. "Alice." She said pulling me into a hug. "Sweetie just to let you know we are goign to attack so don't worry he won't come after you because you ran away." "Mom." "Shh. It's ok sweetie, you are safe." "No mom." I said pulling out of the hug. "I didn't run away. He let me go." She had a confused look on her face. "What? Why?" "He got he what he wanted." I replied. "Which was?" "A neckalce that belonged to his wife that somehow I ended up with. " "I'm just glad you are back." She said pulling me into another hug. "We should probably go tell the others that I'm safe and not to attack." "I agree lets go." She said pulling away. And walking out of the room. I grabbed Noah's hand and smiled. I am happy that I am back.

When we got back down stairs everyone stopped talking. "You're here." Kyle said. I smiled. Then Kyle pulled me in a hug. "We are going to attack so don't worry he won't hurt you anymore." My dad said once Kyle let go of me. "Dad we don't need to do that." I said. "What are you walking about of course we do he hurt my baby girl and I will not stand by it. I'm just glad you got away." "Sweetie," My mom said grabbing my dad's arm. "He let her go and said he doesn't need her anymore for anything. He got what he wanted. " I could tell my dad was calming down now. I don't know if it was because of my mother's touch, or if it was what she said.  Noah was still holding on to my hand like if he let go, I would disappear again. I smiled, and contiued to hold his hand. "Ok, The attack is off. Everyone is safe now, please return to back to your normal lives." My dad said still looking at my mom.   Once everyone left my mom said"Well it's been a long day we should all get some rest." WE nodded our heads.As kyle was heading to the stairs behing Noah and I he rubbed my head "Glad to have you back home little sis." I got mad at him for rubbing my head, and calling me little sis when we are the same age. "We are the same age dummy." I yelled up the stairs.  I heard him laugh. I rolled my eyes. Then I turned to Noah. "Well I should be getting back to my tree." He said kissing my cheek. Right as he was opening the door. I grabbed his arm. "Don't leave." I said. He turned to look at me and closed the door. "I haven't seen you in forever. You can stay the night."  He smirked. Which made my heart melt. "I don't think your dad will approve of me staying the night." I rolled my eyes and just grabbed his hand and led him to my room. When we got in my room, I closed the door. "I defiently won't think he will approve of me staying the night in your room." I rolled my eyes again. "I'm sure my mom and him did this all the time when they were my age, so I'm sure my mom could convince him." "Whatever you say. But I can't wear the same clothes I wore today to school tomorrow." Fudge I forgot I have school. I have missed so much. "You and Kyle look to be the same size so I can give you some of his clothes." I said. He nodded his head. "I'm going to change into my pj's," I said. "I shall do the same." I smiled. I grabbed my clothes and headed to the bathroom.

 Mira was howling with joy that Noah is staying the night. We are so happy to be near him again. Once I was done with changing I went back in my room.  When I enetered my room Noah was just sitting in my bed with only his boxers on. Mira was howling with lust. Ever since I marked him the feelings for him grew a lot stronger. And seeing him shirtless, makes it hard to not take him right now. "you know your tv has no good shows on it." Noah said, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Yeah nothing comes on tonight. I have netflix. You can try that." I said walking towards my bed keeping my head down. Because if I look at him I would end up staring. 'He's our mate we are allowed to stare. Which I enjoy it very much.' Mira said still howling with lust. I rolled my eyes.  "Are you ok Alice you haven't looked at me since you got out of the bathroom?" I sat in the bed, and turn to him smiling. Trying to not let my gaze go to his chest. "I'm fine, I'm just not use to..." Fudge. My eyes went to his chest. 'yummy!' Mira said. Of course she will say soemthing like that. "Alice?" Noah said snapping me out of my gaze. "Yeah?" He just smiled. And got under the covers. "What's your Netlix login?" He asked. 'Aww, he covered up.' Mira said in dissapointed.  I gave him my login. I just kept my eyes fixed on his face. Trying to take in everything about him. He put on Stranger Things. "You know you can stop staring." He said again pulling me out of my thoughts. "Oh sorry." I said turning my eyes to the tv. "You have been acting very weird since you got out of the bathroom." He said. "Blame my wolf." He pasued the show, and smiled. "Why would I do that?" I gave him a look like do you really want to know. When he just keot smirking at me I said "She wants you ok." He smirked again. "What do you mean by want me?" I smacked his  shoulder. "You already know what I mean. stop acting stupid it doesn't fit you." I said looking away. Right when I turned my gaze back to the tv. Noah was on top of me. "But you like it." He  said with a smirk. I could tell he was trying to torture me because he knows what my wolf wants now. "I know what you are up to, so just stop." He just smirked. And put his lips against the cornor of my neck where it meets with my shoulder. I let out a soft moan. That would have been the spot where he would put his mark but since he isn't a wolf he can't do it. He placed kisses all the way up from my neck, to my jaw, then finally placing them on my lips. I tried deepening  the kiss, but that is when he pulled away. Mira was upset with that. I let out a low growl. Noah laid back down on his side of the bed. "You did that on purpose." I said that with another growl. "Yes, yes I did. Its fun messing with you." He said with a smirk and unpaused the show. I rolled my eyes, and laid my head on his chest. Where I everntually fell asleep.
