Alice

Chapter 4

Noah's POV

I came here about a week ago. My gut told me that I should. When I got here, I saw her, she was in her wolf form. She looked amazing. Her fur was reddish gray. Even though I am not a wolf I know they have mates, and I am pretty sure that I was her.I was just drawn to her the second I saw her. I shifted,and followed her. Even from up this high she looked wonderful. I saw that she shifted, and then she came out from behind the trees. I perched on a tree above her, and another girl. "So, you ready for school today?" The girl asked her. "Yeah I guess. You know what. Lets play a game before school like old times." "How can I say no to you Alice." Alice, thats her name. They both shifted back, I decided to go where I was staying while I was here.

I watched over her all day. When she was in school I waited outside. After school was over, I followed above her. She went in a building, and she stayed in there for about an hour. I guess she was training or something. Then she went running with the other girl again. I am guessing that is her friend because they hang out a whole awful lot. They stopped running and shifted. They were in a meadow. I shifted and hid behind a tree. A few minutes before they left, I stepped on a twig, I heard it snapped. I clench my teeth, and held my breath to see if they would say anything. "Did you hear that?" Alice asked. "Hear what?" Her friend replied. I shifted and flew away to behind another tree before I could see what they did. A few minutes after I left, I heard running. Then I saw the white wolf pass the tree I was hiding behind . Then I saw Alice run pass me. She then started to slow down and eventually stop. I saw that she was sniffing the air. I was thinking that she could smell me. I saw her coming closer to me. She was a step away from finding me, and then she stopped and turn away. I wonder why she did that.

After she left I went to the tree I was staying in. I took about an hour or longer nap. Once I woke up I decided I would do some flying. I was flying over the lake, when I saw her dancing with a guy on the dock. I perched in a tree above them. They stayed dancing for most of the song, then they started talking. Then I saw him start yelling, and she did the same. Then I saw her run off to the woods, and he was calling after her. I flew into the woods above her, of course. She then stopped, and I saw that she was crying. I then shifted behind a tree, and walked over to her. Before I came out behind the tree, I put dark sunglasses over my eyes, so she wouldn't tell that I was her mate. I didn't want her to find out just yet. I walked over to her. When she saw me she got into fighting position. I knew she wouldn't hurt me, because she would feel something, but she wouldn't know for sure until she saw my eyes. "Are you ok?" I asked her. She started to stand up normal. "I am fine. What do you want?" She looked so cute in what she was wearing, but I didn't want to tell her. "I was walking by, and I saw you were upset. Do you need someone to take you home?" She stood there for a minute. She looked like she was thinking whether or not to trust me. "Sure you can walk me home I guess." I smiled, and held out my hand for her to take. She grabbed it. The look on her face told me she felt the same thing I was feeling. While we were walking I saw her sniffing the air. I know she was probably trying to figure out my scent because I don't smell like a wolf or human. I smell like the woods, which makes since because I live in them. When we got to her house, I walked her to her back door. "Thank you for walking me home." "Anytime." After I said that I walked away. I saw her turn to her house. I then flew off, to my tree.

The next day I went to the school, and got a schedule and stuff like that. When I walked around a corner, I heard yelling. When I got up closer, I saw Alice and the guy she was with last night. I was wearing the sunglasses I wore last night, so if she looked over to me, she wouldn't tell. "Leave me alone Emmet!" I heard her yell. Before he could say another thing I stepped in. "I think you should do what the lady says." I saw Alice look at me. "Who are you talking to?!" He said back to me. "I am talking to you. The lady said leave her alone, so leave her alone." "You know you aren't the fucking boss of me, so stay out of this." Before I had a chance to say something back to him Alice spoke up. " "Emmet leave now!!" She said it with so much power, that I saw he couldn't stay as much as he tried or wanted too. After he left Alice turned to look at me. "Thanks again for helping me." I gave her a smile. "No problem." I turned to walk away. Then I felt her grab my arm, "wait can you tell me your name?" I looked at her and gave her a smirk. "I'm Noah." She stood there for a minute before saying something back. "I will see you around I guess,Noah." After she said that I left to go to class.

Once school was over, I went to where I was staying at. All around me it was quiet for a couple hours. Then I saw her run pass me.It looked like she was heading to the river. I decided to follow her. This time I decided I wouldn't put the sunglasses on. I want her to know who I am now.
