Search Parties and Missing Royalties

Thorne's POV

I found Wolf and Scarlet almost immediately. They were training, as usual. I entered the gym, which was huge by the way, but I was too fit to come here.

"Hiya Thorne!" Scarlet greeted cheerfully.

"Hello, Thorne," Wolf said, wiping off his massive muscles.

"Hey guys! Um, Winter and Jacin called a couple of minutes ago and requested a meeting. All of us need to be present. It's urgent from the sound of their voices. It will be held tomorrow, just so you now." I said.

"Thanks for letting us know," Scarlet said.

I nodded and went to find Cress. I found her in the kitchen covered in flour.

"Cress, what happened?" I laughed.

"I was coming back from telling Cinder and Kai, and I got hungry. So I came in hear for a snack and ended up bumping into a newbie chef with an open bag of flour. She jumped and said she was sorry and tried to help me get cleaned up, but I told her it wasn't necessary. She insisted and left to find something to clean me up, and that's when you came in." She said in a mouthful.

"Here let me help you clean up"

We were there for an entire 2 hrs.

Cress's POV

I woke up from my nap and realized what time it was. Crap. It was almost time for the meeting!

I rushed to get dressed and went to find Thorne. When I found him we rushed to find the others.

Apparently, they were all ready in the meeting room. All except for...

"Where are Cinder and Kai?" Thorne asked for me.

"We don't know, we thought they were with you," Wolf said.

"If they weren't with us," I said.

"And if they weren't with us," Scarlet said.

"Then where could they be?" Winter wondered aloud.

"I declare this meeting adjourned until we find them," Jacin announced.
I went with Thorne, Winter with Jacin, and Scarlet with Wolf. We split up and searched the castle.

Scarlet's POV

Wolf and I searched for hours. When we didn't find Cinder or Kai, we met up with the rest of the group.

"Did anyone find them?" Jacin asked.

"No ding-dong, if we found them they would be here with us," Thorne said.

Everyone laughed, even Wolf cracked a smile. Jacin did not seem amused.

"Guys, I'm being serious. Without them, our plan doesn't work." Jacin said.

"What plan?" Cress asked.

"Aren't all of us involved with it?" I asked.

"Yes, we all play a part. But the part that Cinder and Kai play is even more important." Jacin repiled.

"What do you mean?" asked Wolf.

"Cinder, is the rightful heir, right? I mean, she has 100% Lunar Royalty in her blood, doesn't she?" Everyone nodded.

"That means that no Lunar could argue with Cinder becoming Queen. Well, an alliance between Luna and Earth must be made. That's why Levena wanted to marry Kai." Winter interjected.

"Yes, well, we believe that in order to fulfill that alliance, they have to get married. No one here, and obviously not them, objects to that decision, right?" Everyone nodded again, because this was something no one could disagree on.

"And without this marriage, Earth and Luna will never be connected and rebellions will occur, causing both nations to deteriorate. So," he continued, "we have to find them now or something really bad could happen."

I didn't like the urgency in his voice. it was more of a warning, like Hey we've got to find the royal couple and get them on Luna, or die!

We brainstormed some more possibilities, if this plan didn't succeed, which I didn't see why, there was no flaw!

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
