Renesmee POV
With my vampire hearing I could her Jacob coming up the stairs.
"Great" I thought to myself. The last person I want to see.
Dad must have been eavesdropping on my reverie because I hear him chuckle downstairs and whisper something to Mom.
Only Mom, Dad, and Aunt Alice knew the truth. That I really didn't love Jacob in the way that he loved me.
I've had to constantly be around him because he can't be separated from me.
Needless to say, its not fun. Dad thinks its hilarious because he didn't and still doesn't like Jacob.
"Ness, can you come downstairs for a second?" Jacob said sweetly. I hated it when he used that voice. It made me regret not loving him.
I didn't say anything, but I did get up off my bed and head downstairs with him.
I heard Dad growl. Whatever Jacob was thinking, made Dad really angry, and that made me anxious.
We finally reached the bottom of the staircase when I went over and sat in between Mom and Dad so I wouldn't have to sit next to Jacob. But Jacob pulled me up.
"You need to be standing up for this honey" Jacob said then smiled.
Jacob called everyone into the living room.
"Jacob what's going on?" Grandma Esme asked in an annoyed voice.
"I'll explain in moment. Ness, I know this is very untraditional, but I love you very very much and.."
I knew where this was going and I didn't like it.
This wasn't going well and everyone who knew my secret was on the edge of their seat. Then Jacob got down on one knee...
