Renesmee P.O.V.
"Renesmee. Ness. NESS!" Alec shouted, snapping me out of my trance. It was 2 hours after I had killed Jasper, and I still haven't fully processed that the first person I have ever killed was my uncle.
"I need to go talk to the Cullens." I whispered distantly, trying to concentrate on calming the pounding of my heart. Alec placed his hand on my thigh, also trying to calm my rapid breathing.
Even the red satin sheets beneath me could not calm my scared shit-less demeanor. What on Earth was I supposed to tell the Cullens?
"Of course, I understand. Go, sweetheart." Alec cooed in my ear, and removed his hand from my thigh. I slowly rose from the bed, and made my way slowly to our chamber door. My heels dragged against the stone floor.
I moped all the way to the dungeons, and I slowly opened the door. I went down the stairs, my heels clicking and echoing across the stone walls.
My family looked awful, and all of them were laying on the floor of their cells.
"I have some bad news." I said, my voice wavering as I looked at each of all my family members and their horrid conditions.
"What is it?" Carlisle gargled out, slowly sitting up and everyone else following suit.
"Jasper.. is.. dead." I spoke, and an eerie silence fell over the dungeon. The only sound was Jane screaming in her cell, which was muffled by the padded walls which enclosed her in.
"And I was the one that killed him." And I broke. I cried in front of my family and I could hear my father speaking soothing words but I could not comprehend them.
I do not know how long I cried for but I got up and walked out of the dungeon, my dignity left on the floor along with the river of tears.
By the time I had made my way back to my chamber it was 11:00 P.M. and I was exhausted. I opened the door and sulked to my bed. I rolled over and felt the bed dip and I knew Alec had joined me. I soon fell into a slumber, but then woke up an hour later.
I tossed and turned and this soon began to worry Alec.
"Renesmee are you okay?" He asked me, and I rolled over to face him.
"Not really, I can't sleep. No matter how hard I try I can't fall back to sleep." I responded, and he ran his fingers up and down my arm.
"Holy shit!" Alec shouted, and he jumped off the bed.
"What? What's wrong?!" I shouted back, immediately scared because Alec never gets like this. He was running around, and before I knew it, all of our lights were on. Alec ran back over to me, and touched me again.
"Babe, your transition is complete." He told me, but I still did not understand what he was saying. I had a dumbfounded look plastered on my face. He noticed and laughed at my stupidity.
"Renesmee! You are finally a vampire!" Alec shouted and I finally understood.
I was elated. I jumped off the bed now too and ran into my fiance's arms.
"This is great! I have to go tell everyone the good news!" I shouted and dragged Alec out of our bedroom door. I walked toward the direction of the dungeons, because the people I wanted to know first about my transition was my old family.
Then I remembered how hungry they were. I stopped dead in my tracks. And once I thought about how hungry they were, I realized how hungry I was.
"Can we go hunt? And then bring back some food for my family as well?" I asked, batting my eyelashes at my gorgeous boyfriend. He nodded slightly, and dragged me out one of the many entrances the palace had.
We ran around, feeding for ourselves on the scum of Volterra. The more human blood I drank, the more stronger I became. I was running faster and I got less tired.
After Alec and I were done hunting, we ran into the woods and found a small group of rabbits. We killed eight of them, that way everyone in my family could have two. I put them in the duffle bag Alec had brought with us, and I took off toward the entrance of the palace that was closest to the dungeons.
Once we were back in the palace, I quietly opened the dungeon door. I knew that if anyone caught us, we would be in huge trouble.
I took my stilettos off of my feet, that way it would be harder for other vampires to hear me. Alec and I trotted down the stairs and I could immediately hear groans of pain coming from everyone in the dungeon. The sound made me run down the stairs so I could ease their pain.
"Ness?" Carlisle whispered at me, and if I could cry, I know I would. I unzipped the duffle bag and handed two rabbits to him through the bars of the cell. I did the same to the other three, and they did not hesitate to drain the blood from both of the animals.
It was dark in the dungeon and I knew that my family could not see the piercing red color of my eyes. But once it sounded like they were finished, I was the first one to speak.
"I have something to tell you guys." I spoke softly, knowing that they could hear me. I searched the room for Alec, just realizing that he was not with me. I spotted him on the last step of the staircase and I immediately calmed down.
"What is it Renesmee?" Esme spoke, and she sounded so fragile. It tugged at my heartstrings, but I kept going.
"I'm finally a full vampire!" I said a bit louder than I had been speaking, and I heard four gasps from the four people in the room.
Before anyone could say anything else, Alec spoke up.
"I'm gonna go talk to my sister, excuse me." He said, walking towards the padded cell in the back of the dungeon and I heard the tiny hatch slide open so he could talk to his sister. Alec was not speaking English, but I soon recognized the tongue he was speaking as Italian. I focused back on to the business at my hands.
"Renesmee this is wonderful." My father spoke up, and I longed to touch him. I can not touch him though, because Alec is right down the hall. I still was not listening to his conversation, but I heard violent hissing coming from both of them.
"Son of a bitch!" I heard Alec roar, and I bolted over to his side. He was crumpled into a ball on the floor and moaning in pain. He was covering his eyes and I saw that the hatch was still open. I stood up and peered through the gap. Jane was laughing an evil and menacing laugh, and I knew this was not going to end well.
Searing pain travelled up my spine so slowly, it was agonizing. I soon fell to the floor as well and the pain stopped as soon as my head landed on the tile. I sat up and closed the hatch as quickly as I could.
Jane had used her gift on me for the first time.
Alec was still groaning and I got back to his side. I uncovered his eyes and his skin was seared from the vampire venom.
"Carlisle what do I do?! Jane spit in his eyes and now they are messed up!" I yelled and I heard quiet conversing between Grandpa Carlisle and my father.
"Bring him here Ness." Bella called to me and I picked him up with my newfound strength and bolted over to my mother.
She took one of the rabbits I had given her and sucked some blood out of it. She swished it around in her mouth and spit it out in her hand. I was grossed out to the max, but I moved his head so my mother could put the blood, venom, and saliva mix over his eyes. Bella dumped the mix onto his melting eyes and I rubbed it in slowly. His eyelids absorbed the concoction and stopped melting. They became regular eyelids again within seconds.
I looked up at my mother, and thanked her several times. Alec was still weak, but I helped him up and we walked to the staircase. I muttered many more thank you's and I had the strongest urge to cry.
I realize now how badly I miss all of them and that what I am doing could be the biggest mistake I have ever made in my 10 years of living.
