Ness POV
"Ness will you marry me?" Jacob asked me with tears in his eyes.
I knew Mom and Dad were probably laughing on the inside. This isn't going to end well.
It had been a solid ten minutes of silence before anyone said anything.
Aunt Alice could hardly stop herself from laughing. Uncle Jazz was confused. He could tell something was up by the way my emotions were. We would have to tell him soon.
How the hell am I gonna get out of this one?
"Um Jake I dunno if I'm ready for this I mean I'm very young and...." I blabbered on and finally trailed off.
"Jacob she's right, she is very young and I do not want my daughter to be marrying this young." Dad said coming to my defense.
THANK THE LORD! I may have wiggled my way out of this proposal, but I don't know if I will be able to get out of the next one.
"Ness, come upstairs with me. I wanna talk to you" Jacob said.
I put on a pleading look on my face. I really didn't wanna go talk with him. I just wanted to go crawl into my father's lap and hide away from all the troubles.
'Oh great here we go' I thought
Jacob opened up my bedroom door and then closed and we both sat down on my bed.
"I know you're hesistant to marry me Ness," Jacob began. I was about to say something but he cut me off by kissing me.
But before it could go further I pulled away.
Then Jacob said "I know I can change your mind"
And then all hell broke loose.
