Chapter 11: Surprise After Surprise

Interesting things are going to happen in this chapter! *insert evil laugh* 

Also, this chapter is set three months in the future from where we left in Chapter 10. Nothing major has taken place, Renesmee has been living life comfortably, blah blah blah. 

Enough of my blabbering, here is Chapter 11!

Renesmee P.O.V.

*THREE MONTHS LATER*

Waking from my undisturbed slumber, I immediately know in my heart something is wrong. 

Alec is not in bed beside me, it's too quiet in our room, and the room is very, very cold. 

I rise out of bed, quickly spotting my silk, carnation pink robe laying on the floor, right where I left it before I went to bed for the night. 

It was now winter in Italy. Even though it isn't as cold as winter is supposed to be, it still was chilly. I quickly found the source of the cold air, which was an open window in the far right corner of our bedroom. 

An eerie feeling soon swept over me. Alec never opens the windows in our room, knowing that I will get cold. I rush back to my bedside table, spotting my cellular phone Alec had bought me last month. 

Frantically, I dialed Alec's number, and soon heard his ringtone for me. I giggled, reminiscing the day we had picked ringtones for each other, 

*Flashback, about 2 weeks ago*

Alec and I were laying in bed, cuddling close to each other. He would be leaving on a business trip for 3 days and I did not want him to leave at all. 

"Now that you have a phone, we need to pick ringtones for each other." Alec said, smiling like a little boy. I always loved that smile. 

"Tell me, love. What is your absolute favorite song in the whole universe at this moment?" Alec blabbered, and I giggled. 

"Well I was watching television last night, and that band One Direction was on Saturday Night Live. They sang an awesome song from their new album, I think it's called Ready to Run." I told him, and he opened up his phone and went onto ITunes. He downloaded the song, indeed called Ready to Run, and set it as my ringtone for whenever I call or text him. 

"There! Now it's my turn!" He said, and I smiled a half smile, which I had been told so many times that I inherited from my father. 

Shaking that thought off, I opened up my phone, the wallpaper making me smile even wider. 

It was my absolute favorite picture of Alec and I. 

Heidi had snapped it when neither Alec or I were looking. Alec was looking at me with such love and adoration it made my heart melt every single time I looked at it. 

I did not even realize Alec was looking at me when the picture had been taken; I had been in deep conversation with Marcus, whom I have grown quite close with, about Jane's trial being delayed for 2 more months. 

"Well, you handsome boy, I heard you jamming out in the shower yesterday to "I'm Too Sexy", so I think that should be your ringtone." I giggled, and if Alec's face could turn red, it would. 

"Shit.. you heard that?" He said, clearly embarassed. I kissed his pouting features, and he relaxed. 

"Decision is made. No negotiations." I said to him, and got out of bed. I went and took a shower, and when I had turned off the water, I heard him singing the words to Ready to Run, and giggled while I dressed.
