The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Michelle and Barack Obama. David and Victoria Beckham. Beyonce and Jay-Z.
These are just some of the names of the guests at my wedding. Yes, that's right. I am now Mrs. Alec Volturi! Finally!
The ceremony was gigantic. It was held in the biggest cathedral that Volterra had to offer, and the whole city could hear the wedding bells ring at 4:30 in the afternoon. The guests cheered and threw flower petals as we exited the church, and Alec and I could not stop smiling at each other. We were finally united forever, just as we had dreamed.
That night, we partied like an newlywed couple would, getting absolutely hammered and dancing like high schoolers do. There were toasts and first dances galore, and the night was absolutely blissful.
As we were entering the limo that would be taking us back to Volturi Manor, Alec's cell phone began to ring. Once we had finally set a wedding date, he changed his ringtone to Pachabel's Cannon, the classic wedding march. We giggled at the ringtone, and he picked up the phone as we sped off toward our home.
I could have probably heard what the person on the other end of the line was speaking about, but I chose to focus on the lights from the countryside instead. My new hometown was so beautiful, I could never get enough.
Alec shoved his phone into his jacket pocket, and said "Driver, please pick up the pace. We need to return to the manor as soon as possible."
He glanced at me, and then out the window, and was speechless for the last five minutes of our commute.
"Thank you Kristof, enjoy your night." Alec said sharply, and we walked up to the doors of our home at 12:30 a.m. The night was peaceful, crickets chirping and frogs peeping, the classic sounds of a warm, spring night in Italy.
Alec snapped open the doors, and there was quite a scene in front of us. Jacob, who was a long forgotten memory ten seconds earlier, was running through the main foyer, and the night shift guards following him.
I rolled my eyes, and held my arm out to Alec's chest as he started to move forward. "I got this," I said, and took my hoops out of my ears and my silver stiletto heels off my feet. I had my vintage Versace dress still on from my ceremony, and it trailed behind me as I swayed towards the imbeciles beheld in front of my eyes.
"Stop this madness," I uttered, and all three men in the room came to a complete stop. Jacob began to walk toward me, muttering words of his love for me. "Another word and your head is as good as mine," I snapped, and he dropped to his knees before me.
I snapped my fingers, and the night shift guards zipped to both sides of Jacob, holding both of his arms.
"Nessie, please. I am begging you, I love you. Please God give me one more chance, I cannot do this without you. You are my everything!" Jacob sobbed into my gown, his tears staining the vintage fabric that I had fallen in love with thanks to Miss Donatella Versace herself. I looked down at my wedding gown, and then back up and the mess of a boy in front of me.
"You have soiled my wedding gown with your salty tears, what would it matter if some blood was added to it?"
The guards tightened their iron grip on his arms and I grabbed his neck with my cold hands, lifting him on to his feet. He still towered over me, but I was one hundred time stronger than he was. He whimpered and sobbed, and I felt Alec come up behind me.
"Please, don't hurt me. Give me a second-"
Before Jacob could finish his final plea, I ripped his fat head off his body, and sure enough my gown was absolutely ruined.
"May God rest Versace's soul," I said and looked at Alec, who stood dead still in the middle of the foyer.
The guards had taken away Jacob's lifeless body and began to ring the death bell that was located in the bell tower atop The Manor.
In response to the low pitched sound, cathedrals across the Italian countryside began to ring as well.
As Alec and I made the trek back to our suite, the echo of the bells could still be heard. He did not breathe a word to me as we walked, and I was beginning to feel a growing sense of anxiety. He opened the door to our room, and walked to the closet to remove his suit.
"I'm sorry.." I whispered, not knowing what else to say.
He returned to face me, already in his pajamas, and said "Do not be sorry. That is the strongest thing you have ever done, and I am beyond proud of you. God, Renesmee Carlie Volturi, I love you so much." Alec squeaked out, and he hugged me so hard.
He pulled away, and he kissed me deep and slow. He slipped the zipper of my bloody dress down, and we consummated our marriage, truly becoming man and wife.
