Chapter 14: The End

I had searched all over for John and I could not find him. I had looked everywhere in Liverpool and in other cities in England, but he was no where to be found. Sarah had no interest in helping me find him.

I didn't know what was wrong with her. Every time I mentioned John she would just give me a cold shoulder. For some reason, she didn't like him very much.

There was only one thing left to do in order to find John. I remembered Paul was really good friends with John and Sarah used to date him. I figured Paul would know where he is so I asked Sarah for Paul's number, hoping he would know where to find him.

"Sarah, I have tried everything. The only other way to find him is to ask Paul. Do you still talk to him?" I asked her.

"No but I do have his number, but I don't think he will be that much help." She said.

"It is worth a try!" I said getting ready to dial Paul's number.

The phone rang a couple times and then he picked up.

"Hello?" He said.

"Hi is this Paul?" I asked.

"Um...yes...who are you?" He asked.

"It's Anette from a while back. Do you remember me?"

"You woke up! This is great Anette! I didn't think you were going to wake!" He said excitedly.

"Well here I am. Look I need a favor. Do you know where John is?' I asked him.

"Well I don't really talk to him much anymore since The Beatles broke up, but he is in New York. He is married to a woman named Yoko now." He told me.

"He is married? That's so crazy, how is he?"

"Like I said, I don't talk to him much."

"Oh that's too bad. Do you know anything about Yoko?" I asked him.

"Well...she is quite different..I am not to fond of her."

"Oh, that's interesting. I must go visit John!"

Paul told me the city John lived in and I thanked him for his help.

"Sarah, I found out where he lives! I have to leave as soon as possible!" I yelled.

"That's great! You are not expecting me to come with you, right?"

"Well it would be nice. I don't want to roam the streets on New York by myself."

"I am not coming with you Anette. No way am I going to see that man." She said disgusted.

"What is wrong with you? He is not that bad!" I said.

No matter what I did I couldn't convince her to come with me. I guess I was going to have to find him on my own. I don't know why she didn't like John, there was nothing he ever did to her, or did he? I decided not to ask her because she was already upset.

Right then and there I decided I was packing me stuff and heading to New York. I got the first ticket I could and I was heading out on December 6th.

It was the day of my flight to New York. I was beyond excited because I was going to see John and I had never been out of the country before.

I was quite nervous but I figured it would be alright. I worried that John wouldn't care anymore and he wouldn't even recognize me. What if he is too in love with Yoko to even care?
