KELLY POV

Dustin kicked the rear right wheel of his trusty automobile for the umpteenth time. No surprise. It's getting annoying for the most part.

The kid is broken up about our current situation though. His trusty and a bit rusty car, Robin, has let us down. Which for the record, we can mark off as untrusty since we are stranded. We are stranded in the middle of no where with no cell phone reception. Dustin looks devasted by the sudden death of his car. The sympathy looks from the gang keep on coming every time Dustin kicks something. We are all silent for the most part. But I have my heart set on something. Something I can bet my life on.

My soul mate.

The man who has my heart is on his way here. I feel it. I feel that he is close. I'm thankful that he is taking this route. Thankful that he is going to the slopes too. What are the chances!

I can't help but wonder who he is coming with. A part of me feels a tremendous amount of jealousy. He is mine! He just isn't aware of his destiny yet.

I just hope that whomever he is riding with, has a more reliable vehicle than we do.

ETHAN'S POV

The gang and I are having such an awesome drive to the slopes. Only 45 minutes till we arrive there. Thats whats so awesome about the back roads. Sure, it's deserted. So if you get stuck out here your screwed. But the traffic on the highway will get so backed up, it'll take you four hours. Your best bet are the back roads. Its only a two hour drive this way.

At the moment, we're talking about Football season and what we hope to get out of it. We always talk about the possibility of being drafted.

Out of all of us, I really feel like Evan has the best chance. He makes a kickass line backer. I would never voice that opinion though. Don't want Evan to get a big head. The man has gotta stay realistic and grounded. He isn't very humble. So everything goes to his head.

Manny and I are good on the field. I'm still going to pursue college football but my focus will ultimately be on getting my degree and getting into a good law school. I need to become a partner before my dad retires.

"Why does that mop of hair look familiar?" Evan says all squinty eyed, totally cutting into manny's lecture about coaches. Sure its not that interesting and he's probably doing it cause he ran out of topics but still-

"That's Mace and Claire!!!!" Evan yells this out as he slams on the breaks. Manny and I look at Evan annoyed as fuck. The fuck we care if Mace and Claire are out here. He cuts the wheel completely to the right and he parks the SUV in front of the small car. He jumps out and calls out if everyones alright. He slams his door shut and I grunt in annoyance. We were making such good time!!! He better make this quick.

"Should we go out and check whats going on?" Manny asks

"Hell no. Evan is too nice and this is why we are on the side of the road wasting precious time-"

"I'm going to go see about them." Manny says jumping out of this suv too.

UGHHHHHHH what the fuck dude! I shoved my arms into my northface and get out of the SUV.

Little(and I use this word lightly by the way) miss amazon bitch is here. By the way, if you can't tell, I am still annoyed that she has the ability to shove my head into the ground. Why is she soo strong? Sure we made up and we had this wierd endearing moment on the lake, but that doesn't take away what she did to my pride...

She threw her head back as she laughed.

I don't know why she ended up in northern California with us regular folk. She obviously belongs on a movie screen. She looks like she's advertising something with the tall bare trees and snow behind her. I can kind of see the ad too. She's using the service 'AAA'. In the background they talk about how easy it is to use. You can call AAA and someone will come to you and make you c-

"Hey man!" Mace says totally catching me off guard. Not to mention catching me staring. He hides her from my view. He has a smirk on his face and since his face is an open book, it tells me everything I need to know. He knows I'm interested. Damn. "Didn't know you were into Kells."

"I'm not." I say, looking him right in the eye.

"You know, you are really good at acting and that might of sounded convincing if you didn't have drool coming out of your mouth and you weren't staring."

I snap my mouth shut cause maybe he's right. "Whats it to you mace?"

"I know your into her. You've been into her since my party."

I got angry. Mostly because I'm confused. I'm pretty sure I wasn't into her then. "I'm not into her! And even if I was, its not your business. So leave it alone."

"Once again, I might of believed you if you didn't look at her the same damn way you looked at Elizabeth before you guys were a couple. By the way it is my business. I love that girl like a sister and I've always loved you like a brother. You can't have her, okay? You just can't."

"I. DO. NOT. WANT. HER." What the actual fuckk! Why isn't he listening?

"Okay." Mace pats me in the back. "Its nothing against you. You understand that right?"

"Then what is it about, if it's not against me?"

"Okay it is against you. Your just not ready for a relationship. And I know thats what shes looking for. You are looking for the moment. You are all about the moment."

There is nothing I could really say though. He is right. I am for the moment. And Kelly..

Well kelly, is that girl in the AAA commercial. Girls like her, get a modelling career and marry movie stars.

We ended up all cramming up in the Tahoe.

Tahoes are spacious vehicles. They arent spacious though when they are packed to the brim with people and their equipment. Everyone of those people brought a duffle bag and snowboards. How they all fit in that tiny ass car that they were in before, is beyond me.

AAA was dropping off Dustin's car at a shop in town. It was close to the slopes so it would probably cost him a pretty penny to get it fixed. Everything is expensive by the slopes. Which is why once we get into the outskirts, we are going food shopping for essentials.

What annoyed me was the fact that I passed up the chance at having amazon Kelly on my lap. It had made sense to everyone that kelly be on my lap since I'm the tallest in the whole group. I literally tried so damn hard to keep her away that it worked. She is sitting on Dustin's lap now since he's the second tallest. If I didn't bitch about having her on my lap, I would of had her to myself. Now she has her stupid perfect hair cascading down his arm and her face nestled in the crook of his neck. He's holding her to him too. If I didnt know any better, the dweeb was getting a kick at seeing my face. Like he knew something.

The fuck I care if he's cuddled up with her. Get a room for all I care. Fucking slut.
