I closed my mouth, it had taken a lot of energy for me to let out such a loud scream, I had to sit down after this one. As soon as I sat down I heard rustling, a head popping out above me.

"Do you need help?" The head said.

"No, I mean, I just found this nice hole to fall into, and I was practicing my blood curling scream for this horror drama I am doing"

"Are you sure, the scream didn't really sound like that, more loud than anything" it replied

I mentally face palmed myself "Help me get out would you?"

"What will I gain from it then?" Well this it was definitely a boy.

"Having the experience of getting someone out of a whole, you know practice makes perfect right?"

I heard laughter which did not resonate from the boy. "Well there are two of you it should be easier for you then" I said lying back down, I saw him smile then he went out of my view after I heard shuffling. Looking away from the edge of the wall, I gazed at the sky, I could see a huge amount of dark grey clouds, plus the wind was getting colder even I could feel this. The birds could feel it to as a large swarm were flying away, Dear Mother really didn't want me to find this puzzle piece did she? How long have I even been down here anyway, I'll need to ask the boy when I get back up there also borrow his phone I am sure at least one person in my family was worried, even if they weren't I would gladly annoy them anyway.

"It is going to rain today so would you please hurry up, I don't want to die by drowning"

"You won't" The boy threw a rope down, he was probably hiking on the nearby cliffs, I remember seeing the schedule for the trip so he went to one of the schools east of here. I pulled on the rope, it had knots on it making it easier to climb. I neared the edge of my hole ,yes it was mine as I had fallen into it, I saw that the laughter belonged to another boy who remained at the trees.

"See you didn't drown now, did you?" I faced the direction of the boy coming into contact with a blue eyed boy. " The names Tony" He smiled "The one being a creeper is Jared" he motioned with his head.

"Not a creep by the way" Jared said with a wave.

"Could I use your phone" Suddenly remembering what I had planned to do earlier.

"Here, the other ones battery died" Jared said

"I forgot to charge it okay" Tony replied

"What do you need it for anyway" Jared turned towards me, he handed me the phone more curiosity than anything.

"Need to call my family, I've been gone for a while now, someone has probably noticed my lack of presence whether they bothered to tell anyone is why I need to call in" I explained.

"They sound like if they care, I guess I shouldn't be surprised I did find you in a hole"

"And what does me being found in a hole have anything to do with the type of parents I have" I snapped

"Lets be honest you are a wild one"

"Nonsense" "You don't go to our school which is another reason" We both said at the same time.

I dismissed the comment and dialed my aunt Deana which took a process of calling 15 times, waiting for 20 minutes for her to pick up and even being redirected to the voicemail. I was about to cut of when I started hearing yelling in the background.

"Hello..?"

"Aunt Deana its me"

"Oh you, did you get my herbs yet, where are you anyway"

"I fell in a ditch"

"Oh, okay what about my herbs"

"I didn't get your herbs"

"Hello?" I stared at the phone waiting for a response, did she just hang up on me. I proceeded to ring again.

"Want do you want" She sighed

"I fell into a ditch!"

"Well have you gotten out"

"Yes, that's not the problem, could you ask Natalie to look into the Bruns case"

"What am I your personal assistant, if you want to ask her yourself" she snapped at me

"You know how she is with technology its either she breaks or loses it"

"..." there was silence on the other end which meant she was considering it.

"I'll get you your herbs"

"Okay I'll tell her and ask Reagan if she could hold a scrying then"

I let out a sigh. Aunt Deana could be useful when she wants to be.

"But Melaena, don't push to hard for this case, you fell in a ditch for a reason, don't make the mother try to kill you for good this time"

"God, Deana, what if I had been on speaker"

"Don't call me Deana" with that she cut off.

I stared at the phone in a daze, why was she so angry was it because of someone, an outsider maybe? I shook my head. "Could I keep your phone, mines broken, I promise I'll find a way to return it back to you."

"Something happened to yours.."

"It broke from the fall" I motioned my head towards the ditch.

"Yeah keep it then I'll just get a new one, just reset the phone"

"What you don't trust me"

"Nope, who knows if you are an axe murderer or something"

"or something" I mumbled.

"So what are you going to do now, go home?"

"No, I think I am going towards the cliffs"

"Just finished hiking there, it was pretty dangerous now that its dark out"

"I am not going to hike more like climb"I said "Well better, get going before it gets pitch black"

They both nodded and with that I departed.

After walking for two hours, I finally got to the cliffs, I thought the cliffs closed at 3 how did they manage to get to my location in that time or being in the ditch made me think that the time was shorter? I moved towards the cliffs entrance, but detoured to the right where the another entrance was, one that not enough people knew about.

It was called the suicides entrance. Where people go to you know..... jump. I shivered there was to much negativity coming from there as I moved closer; Now although my gifts associate with death it was specific, I had to look for only one person at a time, Never more, Mother won't ever permit it. But this was to much how didn't the people of this town not notice the population decreases. I was here for about a month and found it but I guess it was because I was searching, sometimes it is blissful to be ignorant.

I pushed open the gate, not to come here to die, but to head to the woods to hopefully end this tragic tale of deaths compiling .
