When her mother brought her into this world, everyone knew that she was something special. They felt it in their bones. You know when you walk into a room and you're overwhelmed with a terrible, dark energy? Imagine the exact opposite of that. She was innocence incarnate. She was kind, courteous. After all she had lost; they were surprised that she hadn't acted up at all. She was a good child. She was absolutely perfection. With those beautiful ocean blue eyes and that luxurious brunette hair, everybody knew that when she grew up, her looks would kill. That turned out to be true. Except it wasn't exactly her looks. More like her insatiable hunger for human blood and the sick satisfaction of taking someone's life being the cause. However, she didn't choose to be like that.

When a person goes through great trauma, it tends to leave a mark on both that person's life and on their mental health, their way of thinking, the way they act, among other things. Depending on how severe the experience the person went through, their capabilities of thinking rationally could be rendered useless. That is exactly what happened to a girl named Carmen, who life was nothing but unkind to.
