Elizabeth put on a simple black cocktail dress that ended mid-thigh that she paired with flats. She didn't want to wear anything too extravagant, as she feared it would be too much and if she had to kill someone, she didn't want to get blood all over something that she couldn't get it out of. She stared at herself in the bathroom mirror, examining her reflection before she opened the mini fridge near the front door, pulling out a blood bag that she had stolen a while back from a local hospital. She opened it up and quickly consumed the blood, licking her lips once she had finished, throwing the blood bag in the trash. Grabbing her purse, she looked at Carmen one last time before she left, making sure she was sound asleep and also hoping she would stay that way at least until she got home. If she got home, assuming Aria wouldn't pull anything on her.

Elizabeth arrived to the bar a few minutes late. The bar was in a part of town she wasn't familiar with. Luckily, her little friend by the name of GPS helped her out before she had completely found herself in another city. When Elizabeth entered the bar, she was greeted with the sound of country music blaring through the large speakers that stood at every corner in the building. Elizabeth rolled her eyes. She despised country music. To her, it all sounded the same. Every country music song was about how someone's wife left him and his dog hates him. Same case with the ones sung by women. Elizabeth scanned the bar's patrons before Aria caught her eye. She sat on a bar stool in the corner, with two glasses of an unknown beverage sitting in front of her. One was nearly empty, the other hadn't been touched. That one must have been for her.

Elizabeth moved her wavy blonde hair out of her face as she stepped over to the area that Aria sat in. Aria stared up at Elizabeth, her red lips forming a smirk. "I have to say, I'm surprised you decided to show yourself. To be honest, I thought you weren't going to show because you were scared." Aria hadn't changed a bit since the last time they had seen each other. Aria still had a slight Russian accent, having lost most of it since she first came to America all those years ago. Her eyes were still that beautiful chocolate brown color. "Scared?" Elizabeth chuckled softly. "I'm not scared of anything. Especially not you." Elizabeth sat down on the stool directly next to her. Aria slid the drink closer to Elizabeth. "I bought you a drink. Bourbon. I never forgot your favorites." She said, tossing her a friendly smile. "Thanks." Elizabeth mumbled before picking up the glass and taking a sip. The alcohol burned down her throat. Quite literally.

Elizabeth spit out the drink and coughed as an unknown substance inside the drink seared her throat, causing her immense pain. "What did you do to my--" She choked out in between coughs. Aria stared down at her, no emotion in her eyes. "It's a special herb. Toxic to vampires. If you make contact with it, it burns your skin. Hurts, doesn't it?" She teased, leaning closer to her. Once her throat had healed, Elizabeth finally was able to speak clearly. "What do you want? What was your purpose for bringing me down here?" She spat, shooting her a glare. Aria tilted her head to the side. "Please don't act like you don't know. Your little dog bit Tate, and his bite isn't healing. Might I add that he got linked to her by you. I want you to fix it. If you won't, then I will." Aria said coldly, making sure that Elizabeth knew she wasn't joking around.

"Sorry, but I don't know how to fix it. Even if I did know, I wouldn't. You know as well I do all the terrible things Tate did. Not only to Carmen, but to me." Elizabeth replied. Aria rolled her eyes in response. "Get over it. Your parents have been dead for decades, let the little revenge plot go. Do you think what you're doing to Carmen is any better? Do you think you're any better?"

"Since when did you start caring about Carmen?"

"I didn't say I did. I'm making a point though. The girl should have stayed dead. But no, you decided to rise her from the dead and turn her into a demonic creature. You're ordering her around, making her do your dirty work. Please. Elizabeth. Tell me. Does that make you any better than him?"

"Who's the one who murdered hundreds of people because he couldn't deal with the death of his mother? Sure wasn't me."

"I could kill you right here and now, but I haven't yet. I'm being nice about this. Please. Tate is weak, and he's dying. If you don't save him, he's going to die."

"That's my plan. Why would I save him? Why should I save him?"

"People deserve second chances. He's changed. Obviously, you wouldn't know that because you haven't taken a single minute to even get to know him!"

"Why are you even with the guy? Why did you help him turn his emotions back on?"

"Because I saw something in him worth saving."

"And what would that be?"

Aria opened her mouth to speak, but was interrupted by the sound of her phone going off. Who would be calling her at the hour? She pulled her phone out of her pocket. "Why is your phone calling me?" She asked in confusion, showing the blonde her cell phone screen. Her number showed up as the caller ID. Elizabeth rummaged through her purse for her phone, but was unable to find it. "I'm not calling you." Aria answered the phone. "Hello?" She said. There was silence on the other line. "Hello?" She said again. Finally, a voice spoke. "Help me.. I think I'm dying.." They said in a weak whisper. "Carmen?" Aria asked. The line then disconnected. Aria stared at Elizabeth in confusion. "I think your demon girlfriend is in trouble."

"Crap." Elizabeth pushed herself off of the bar stool, grabbing her purse. "I have to go." She turned to walk away, but quickly stopped in her tracks. "But first.." She took her contaminated drink and threw it at Aria. A loud scream of pain escaped from Aria, the herb burning her skin as Elizabeth walked out of the bar.
