Elizabeth and Carmen walked a mile or two before they took a taxi cab to Elizabeth's hotel. Elizabeth used her card key to unlock the door, letting her and the brunette inside. Carmen sat down on the bed, staring at Elizabeth as she walked by. That continued for a few minutes before Carmen finally spoke. "I'm hungry." Elizabeth looked at her. "I think there might be some snacks in the mini fridge. You can check, though whether you eat them or not is up to you. Personally, I stay away from the junk." Carmen rose up from her seat. "No. I want blood. I want your blood." Carmen charged at Elizabeth, knocking her against the wall and sinking her razor sharp teeth into her neck. Elizabeth cried out in pain as she attempted to push Carmen off of her. "Stop!" When that failed, Elizabeth said a short phrase that was in a foreign language, which caused Carmen to fly across the room, hitting her head hard on the wall. She fell to the ground, revealing herself to be knocked unconscious.

Tate sat in his living room, awaiting Aria's arrival as he watched the trash people called television, Tate felt a sharp pain in his neck, then felt a warm substance trickle down his chest, soaking his t-shirt in blood. A groan of pain left the male, touching his neck to feel a deep bite. He then looked at her hand, which was now covered in blood. "What the hell is happening to me?" He said to himself. He stood up and started to pace the room, impatiently waiting for Aria to get there. Suddenly, it was like Tate had been catapulted across the room. He knocked into a glass bookcase, the impact of his head against the glass causing it to break, knocking him out. When Carmen had bitten Tate, Carmen unintentionally linked herself to Tate, which also linked him to Elizabeth. So that meant that whatever happened to Carmen, happened to Tate. Did that mean if she died, would he die too? That he did not know.

"Wake up. Wake up, you idiot."
Tate was awoken by Aria shaking his body. He opened his eyes slowly, greeted with the sight of Aria hovering above him. Tate sat up, a groan following. His neck wound throbbed. His whole body throbbed. This was almost like being human again. "Tate, you're covered in blood. What the heck happened to you?" Aria asked, concerned for Tate and his health. She tilted his head for him so that she could get a better look at the wound. Tate sighed, lightly smacking her hand away. "Don't. No point in looking at something that can't be fixed." Tate stood up, Aria following. "We don't know that for sure. Now tell me what happened? How did this happen?" Aria's beautiful brown eyes flickered up to meet Tate's, love and worry visible in them. Those eyes always made Tate's heart melt. Tate sighed again. "I was sitting on the couch waiting for you, when all of a sudden, I felt this sharp pain. Next thing I know, I fly across the room and I blackout." Aria's lips parted, lost for words. "You're linked to her. Whatever happens to Carmen, happens to you." Aria tried to fight the tears that began to pool in her eyes. "We have to kill Elizabeth. It has to be the only way we can fix you."

Tate pushed a few strands of hair out of Aria's face and wrapped his arms around her slender waist. "Maybe fixing me isn't worth it. I've lived a long life full of pain and murder. Maybe it's time for me to die. Maybe it's time for me to go be with my mother." He said. A tear streamed down Aria's cheek. "No. No, don't you dare say that! I love you, Tate. I'm going to do whatever it takes to save you, even if it kills me. I got you out of the dark place you were in for decades. You deserve to live, to be happy with me." Aria's words were frantic. How could Tate say something like this? How could he have lost all desire to live? Tate placed his palms at either side of her face and pulled the brunette in closer, capturing her in a passionate, loving kiss filled with desire. His fingers tangled in her hair and his eyes fluttered shut, just wanting to live in this moment. After all of the pain he caused people over the years, Tate had thought he wasn't worthy of living a life. Especially not an eternal one. Being a vampire was both a gift and a curse. Aria kissed Tate back with an equal amount of passion, breaking the kiss after a few minutes. "You can't just give up like that. That is not the Tate I know. You are stronger than this. You're going to make it through this, and we'll get away from this place. We can go wherever you want. We can go to my hometown in Russia. It's beautiful there, you'd love it." She tried her best to smile in order to cover the tears, but it was no use. Tate wiped her tears away with his thumb. "Maybe you're right. Maybe you're wrong. Only time will tell. All I know is that if I were to die right now, I'd go happy." Tate reached for Aria's hand and held it in his, rubbing the surface of it gently.

A soft chuckle left Aria's lips. "Go take a shower and wash off the blood. You may be a vampire, but you'll still be able to get an infection if you don't keep those bites clean." Aria said, before kissing his cheek. Tate nodded. "Don't go anywhere." He said, before heading off to the bathroom. "I won't." She smiled at him. Once she heard the bathroom door shut and the shower start, Aria's face turned cold, fury practically radiating from her. Actually, fury was an understatement. Aria was normally one to be calm, but now was not one of those situations. She was very much homicidal. Aria exited the house and unlocked her car, pulling a large duffel bag out of the back seat. She unzipped it, revealing a large gun equipped with two stakes that could be shot out of it. Aria was going to pay Elizabeth a little visit, one that she would not forget. Oh, the crazy things people do for love.
