It was a lovely day outside, but who wants to go out there? Lilly had nothing to do as she sat in her bean bag chair, texting Sage.
L: Come over, I'm bored.
Sage enthusiastically accepted her invitation, ready to fill her head with more information on Juicy Jayce.
"Why was he in the hospital?" Sage asked as they walked up the stairs.
"I dunno, he wouldn't tell me." Lilly sat on the opposite side of the room from Sage as she looked through old texts. The last thing she'd want Sage to see was her and Jayce's texts before the accident, that hinted that they were "fighting".
Is this the right number? Sorry if I seem creepy, but I'm really interested in drugs.
"Really interested in drugs?!" Lilly exclaimed to herself.
"What?" Sage questioned.
"This number texted me a couple days ago about a rough night texted me again, but about drugs."
"Let me see." Sage took the phone from her hands.
"There's nothing to see." Lilly said snatching it back with precise accuracy even though Sage danced around her. "I just told you."
"That's just that guy from the night you got roofied. He was hoping to get some I'm guessing. Delete him."
"What guy?" Lilly pushed.
"The guy that answered when I called you. He's super creepy, he was looking through your phone when I got there."
Lilly scrunched up her face and texted back.
L: Who is this and how did you get my number?
"Why are you entertaining him Lilly? I just told you who he was. He's asking for drugs and he looked through your phone while you were knocked out. You wouldn't do this if Jayce was here. . ." Sage got up and looked out the window.
"Like heck I would." Lilly lied, thinking back to what she said at the hospital. Her voice shrunk, "We kissed."
"Oh my gosh, are you serious? What was it like - tell me please! All the details!" Sage yelled excitedly sitting under her like a child waiting for a story.
"He was on morphine. His lips were limp and slobbery." Lilly shrugged. She was glad the their first kiss was like this, since she was in control. Ever since her first kiss, the boy always tried to take it too far, with tongues and such. Lilly always found tongue kisses disgusting.
I'm from that college party. I'm sorry I looked through your phone but I would feel pretty salty if you got sick from those drugs and I didn't know about it. You didn't look so good when you left.
