L
Part 2
Now that she was heading back to her living room after what happened in the bathroom, Lilly was starting to realize the impossible. Jayce may have been seen as a petty soap actor, but she knew what he meant in the bathroom. Starting to come to further realities, she picked up her pace to beat him there. She turned around to check what he was doing, being that he had just came out the bathroom with her. He had disappeared. Lilly finally made it to the living room and sat in his place, next to Blayde, just to see his reaction.
No one paid her any mind when she had came into the room, except a smile from Blayde. I know what Jayce is doing, he really is smarter than I thought. We can't come back at the same time.
She speculated more. Jayce can easily outsmart me.
Jayce returned from the bathroom, hands dripping. "You didn't have any towels." He commented, noticing Lilly's new place on the sectional. Sage sat next to her, and there was an empty seat next to Sage.
"Hey Sage, can I sit there? I want to sit next to Lil."
Sage scooted over without protest, smiling because he wanted to sit next to Lilly, but more so because he would still be sitting next to her.
"So Blayde," Lilly turned towards him, purposely not acknowledging Jayce, "are you going to school down here?"
"Yes, on a full ride scholarship actually." Blayde boasted, hoping to impress.
"Wow, class valedictorian?" Addilyn asked. "Just like Lilly here."
"No, 3.6. But for a historically black college. My mom and dad both got their degrees from there, so they want me to go there."
Lilly's face lit up. "Omg! I was considering a historically black college, but I didn't know they had any here in L.A."
"Its small. But still, better than nothing." Blayde looked at Jayce, who was just sitting back listening to the conversation. "Are you two going to college together?"
Addilyn's eyes scurried when he asked.
"I could, considering the fact I was accepted into USC before I dropped out." Jayce added, nonchalantly.
"University of Southern California?! My school?!" Lilly threw his arm off of her.
"Um... Yes?" Jayce sat up and looked at her, wondering why she acted so shocked.
"They are dang near ivy league! They have 17.8% acceptance rate!"
"Okay?" Jayce insisted.
"Just stop Jayce. Just stop lying! You're just jealous of Blayde!" Lilly stood up from the couch. Even Blayde seemed shocked from the sudden accusation of the uncaring boy he saw sitting on the couch. Jayce, stared at her, provoking an unanimous question from everyone, why is he remaining so calm?
Jayce rested his back on the couch again. "No ones lying... In fact, I'm surprised they accepted you with that 3.89 GPA."
"I have great test scores!" Lilly walked over to sit next to Addilyn. "I'm just dying for you to shoot his lie down. I can't believe he's lying- just because he's jealous!"
