Questionable [ON HIATUS]

Happy Birthday Mikes

*Time Skip: 2 months*

*Serenity's P.O.V.*

Today is Mikey's birthday and the entire gang has planned a surprise birthday party for him.
Bob was taking care of getting us a lot of food.
Frankie was in charge of bringing in the drinks.
Gerard and I took care of decorations.
In the meanwhile, Ray was out with Mikey on a romantic walk in the park. I made sure that he texted me everywhere they went, and eventually, they left the park and were headed to go shopping in New York.

One by one, the guests arrived.
First was Pete and Patrick, later came Brendon and his girlfriend, Sarah, and lastly we had Billie Joe and his starting band to perform for Mikey.
About half an hour after Billie showed up, I got a text from Ray saying:

Serenity, we just got out of the freeway into Red Bank, be ready in about 15
-Ray

I quickly replied:

Okay Princess Fro Fro... everyones here and were ready.... hopefully he likes it c:
-Serenity

I didn't expect him to text back since he was driving, so I put away my phone in the back pocket of my jeans.
I walked over to the kitchen to find Mikey and Gee's mom taking out the cake from the fridge. When she placed it on the counter, she went over to a cupboard and took out some frosting.
Blue, black, and red.
I watched intently as she slathered the cake in black frosting and then write in the words "Happy Birthday Mikes".
I smiled at her and she smiled back.

~Flashback~

"Mommy, mommy! I wanna help too!"
"Okay Serenity, just be careful okay?"
"Okay mom"
I put a happy face in white frosting at the top of my layered cake.

"Happy birthday dear Serenity! Happy birthday to you" everyone sang the words to me. I felt like a princess in my dress and tiara.
"Blow the candles out my dear and watch your dreams come true!"
My mom always made me feel special on my birthday.
I just turned 6.

*End Flashback*

A tear rolled down my face as I smiled at my pleasant memory.

Then I felt a vibration in my back pocket.

We're around the corner, be ready!
-Ray

Okay
-Serenity

"Okay guys! Everyone hide somewhere and be ready to greet Mikey after they come in" I yelled into the house as I walked out of the kitchen. I turned off all the lights and hid behind the door, my present in hand.

Keys fumbled in the keyhole and I managed a "shh" to quiet down everyone.

The door slowly creeped open and Ray was first to come in.
"I wonder where every one is Mike, Gee said they'd be here,"

"They probably forgot my birthday, like last year... its okay. Lets just watch a m-"

"SURPRISE!" Every one yelled out.
I turned on the lights and hugged Mikey.
"Happy birthday Mikes," I whispered, "I could never forget your birthday."
He pulled away from me and turned to look at everything from.the guests to the decorations.
"Thanks guys," he said in a shakey voice.

About an hour into the party, we decided it was time to hand Mikey his presents.

First was Brendon and his girlfriend. They got him a new beanie and a pair of fingerless gloves. "Thanks guys," he said in appreciation.

Up next was Ray, who gave him a key and he winked at him. "Umm..th-thanks babe, " he was red and his voice was trembling.

After Ray was Pete and Patrick. They handed him a box and in it were brand new pics and an Iron Maiden strap. "Thanks so much guys," he said over the music playing softly in the background.

Next was Frank, who gave him a hug and then handed him a box filled with brand new comics.
"Holy shit Frank! Thanks man," Mikey sounded happier than a kid with a new toy.
"No problem dude," Frank said smiling.

As Billie started to sing, Gerard went up to him and hugged him. After letting go, he gave him a pair of Metallica tickets for Ray and him to go see them in New York in about a month.
Mikey's mouth fell open in astonishment.

"Gee, how'd you get these, they were sold out the third day they were out," Mikey's voice sounded curious and excited.
"Let's just say I thought ahead, Mikes," was all Gerard responded before walking away.

Bob went after Gee to hand him a present.
"You already got a beanie, but mines better," he said chuckling a bit. "Thanks man, I can never have too many beanies," Mikey said with a smile.

I walked up to him and gave him another hug then handing him his present after pulling away from.him.
"It isn't much, but I hope you like it," I said shyly. I had given him a small bracelet with a music note as a charm and his initials carved behind it.
"Thanks Serenity, I love it. Would you," he asked gesturing to his wrist.
"Of course Mikes," I said removing the bracelet from the box and tying it on his wrist.

Lastly, both Mr. and Mrs. Way walked up to Mikey each giving him a hug. Donna had tears in her eyes.
"Happy birthday Mikes," said his dad.
"Thanks dad," he said coolly.
"My baby boy is growing up so quickly. So handsome too," said his mom teary eyed.
"Haha thanks mom. I love you guys," Mikey said pulling her into a hug.
"Well, your mom and I decided that if Gerard got a car for his birthday at your age, it would only be fair if we got you one as well. Happy birthday champ, " said his dad handing him a skull lanyard with a key at the end of it.
"Oh my gosh, thanks so much dad! Thanks mom," he pulled in his dad alongside his mom and hugged them tightly.

"Lets get a little crazy tonight!," cried out Brendon. Everyone let out a chuckle and the music got louder.

After a few drinks, Mikey's and Gerard's parents said their goodbyes and said they were gonna go home.

Let's just say everyone had a fun night and it was surely something we might not remember the next morning.
