*Serenity's P.O.V.*
I woke up in the hospital. I looked all around and I saw Ray asleep along with Mikey.
What time is it? I thought.
Bob came in soon after with four cups of coffee.
He looked tired, he had bags under his eyes.
I tried to say something, but my mouth had a tube in it, I instantly freaked out.
Bob looked shocked, Ray woke up realizing I was going into shock. He woke up Mikey as Bob ran outside to call a doctor.*Bob's P.O.V.*
Serenity hasn't woken up in months... Gerard is going insane.
I paid the cashier and took the coffee outside the cafeteria.
On the way out I saw Gerard trudge out of an elevator.
"Morning Gee, go home and wash up okay? And get some rest, too. You need it," I said to him as we walked past each other.
He simply nodded and took the coffee I had for him.
On the elevator, I had a really sinking feeling about Serenity.
What if she never woke up?I got out on the 5th floor and went down the hall, turned right on a different hall, and went into Serenity's room three doors down from that.
As I walked in, I felt like someone was watching me. Both Ray and Mikey are still asleep. I looked to the other corner as well to check if her aunt was there, she wasn't.
I looked at Serenity, she looked back.
Then she made muffled sounds. Was she trying to talk?
She was trying to talk!
But she was going into shock. Her pulse got faster, the beeping on her monitor accelerated. Ray and Mikey woke up I'm a jump, I looked at them.and then ran outside for help.
"Anyone ..a doctor! Please, we have a patient who just woke up!"
With this I caught the attention of a nurse who was walking down towards our hall.
When she heard me she immediately ran to her room and from there called the doctor.
A minute later the doctor and the.nurse made us step outside, then bringing Serenity down to the ICU.
Tears ran.down.my face as I plopped down next to her door.
"Bob, she'll be okay, I promise," I heard Mikey say.
"Yeah, whats the worst that could happen now. Have her in a coma again? She'll be fine dude," added Ray.
"We need to call Gerard," I responded with tremor in my voice.
Mikey nodded his head and took out his cell phone. He dialed Gee and put it on speaker.
After a few rings, Gee picked up the phone.
"Hello," he was half asleep.
"Gee, we have some good and bad news. I know you probably just got home, but you need to come back to the hospital. Its Serenity."
"I'm on my way," was all he said and he hung up.*Gerard's P.O.V.*
Serenity. What's wrong with Serenity?!
I got dressed in a new change of clothes and called her aunt. She picked up after two rings.
"Hello Gerard, whats the matter?"
"Ms. Adams, we need to go to the hospital. Mikey has some good and bad news about Serenity."
"Alright, let me just get dressed, I'll be on my way.Meet you all there, and thank you for notifying me," then she hung up.
I scurried upstairs (since my room is the basement) and I grabbed my keys from where I hung them next to the door and ran to my car. On the drive to the hospital I ran two red lights and almost ran over a pedestrian.
I didn't care. He was in the way anyways. And as for the lights, a ticket was nothing compared to the importance of seeing Serenity right now.
I got to the hospital and I saw her aunt's car, there was an open space two cars down so I parked there. I went inside the hospital and ran to an elevator not bothering to stop and sign in. I had to see my baby again.
I reached her room, but it was empty. I looked around hoping to see someone I could ask for her whereabouts, but there was no one. I decided to go back downstairs and ask a receptionist. On the way downstairs, I felt a sort of excitement and anguish that was tying up my stomach in a knot.
I went downstairs and when I reached the receptionist's desk, Frank ran inside startled as I was.
"Gee? Gee! Have you seen Serenity yet? Is she okay?," he asked all these questions as if I knew the answers to them. I shook my head. His face turned blank. I then asked the receptionist lady about Serenity's whereabouts.
"She was transferred to the ICU on the second floor. It doesn't show what room, but you can ask the receptionist there.," she stated calmly.
"Okay, thanks a lot ma'am." Frank said as I started walking towards the elevator.
He caught up with me and gave me a faint smile.
"She's gonna be fine Gee, I.can feel it," he whispered.
"Thanks man," was all I said.
We got out of the elevator and Frank asked for Serenity's room number to the male receptionist.
"Room 84, its down the double doors on the left side, tenth door down."
We followed the man's instructions and found her door.
Ray and Mikey were holding on to eachother and my sight of her was shocking.
