The next morning at the table I found myself thinking about Nick. What he felt like, who he was. Andrea was stressing that he was very important but I just thought that he was a very rich man.
"Good morning sunshine." Chirped Andrea she was always a morning, day and night person.
"Hey Andrea who was that guy last night?" I couldn't keep it in any longer I just had to know. Suddenly her mood shifted and she was serious again.
"Nicholas Laudel is a very important man. He might end up being our new boss."
I chocked on my cereal. "What?!?!"
" Listen it's been under the wraps but Beau told me a few months ago that the hotel was going to be sold along with the restaurant. And Nicholas Laudel has been known for buying businesses and liquidating them. Which means that if he decides we can all loose our jobs." Andrea was truly terrified; crying. She's always been the stronger one of the both of us and seeing her like this broke my heart.
"It's okay Andy everything is going to the alright." I hugged her.

That afternoon I was workings earlier shift at the bar. It was almost empty except for a few people. As I was cleaning up a man sat in a stool in front of me. I looked up and it was him. Nick. I was speechless he wasn't even looking at me he was looking down at his phone. I turned away but he said "No. Come back."  He was waving his index finger to come towards him. It took all my strength to come up with there words, "What can I get you Mr. Laudel?" I was trying to be as polite as possible.
"You know what I want." He looked at me and dazzled me with his eyes. What did he just say?
"Oh right! Scotch neat." I served him his drink and began to walk away.
"Noo." He made the same motion and I went back to him a little more annoyed this time.
"Do you need anything else? Sir." I gritted.
He didn't respond but kept texting "Si-" he put up his finger telling me to wait a minute. The nerve of this guy. He finally turns off his phone and looks at me.
"You're fired."
