"So what finally swayed you to come out with me love?"
I smirked at him.
"Was it my dashing good looks? Or my charm? No I know what it was it was my wealth wasn't it love?"
"Stop it Zach. It's just that I need to move on."
"I'm glad to hear that love." He says in a sympathetic tone.
As were walking to my front door we stop at the door.
"So." I say nervously. I think I wanted him to kiss me.
"So." He smiles at me.
"Thank you for dinner."
"It was my pleasure love."
"Do you want to come in?"
He looked down and then into my eyes.
"I'm afraid I can't do that. You see if I go in there I won't come out until morning and I know that Deep down you're not ready for that." He stokes my cheek so tenderly and softly.
"I care to much for you love. So I leave you with this."
He leans down and gives me a soft kiss on the lips. My breath is taken away as he pulls away.
"Goodnight love." He walks to his car leaving me with a huge smile on my face. After a few minutes of standing there with a huge smile looking like a crazy person I finally turn to open my door. As I turn the door knob a hand comes over mine. The Sparks that immediately ignite In me to my core tell me who it is.
"Check and mate."
