Raj and Bernadette used to hang out most of the time. And they were all mushy. They used to term themselves as 'boyfriend-girlfriend'. That's when Howard stepped in the story.
"You remember the pact, right?" Howard asked Raj, referring to the day when he and Raj made a pact: when one of them gets a girlfriend, the former asks his girl to set the latter up.
"Yes. You have been nagging me into it all week." Raj complained. "I have someone for you."
In stepped a tall, lean lady with red locks in a blouse and pencil skirt standing next to Bernadette. "Hi. I am Emily, you are Howard, same old stuff." The Emily character said. Rajesh gave a peck on Bernadette's cheek and both of them stood up and wandered away.
"Tú eres muy bonita, señorita." Howard said.
"Excuse me?"
"You are very beautiful, miss. In flawless Spanish. "
"Thanks. You are too."
They talked and talked and talked. After Emily stood up to go, Howard pulled her hand and asked:
"Emily Sweeney, I have had the pleasure to talk to you. Will you please be me date to prom and maybe even be my girlfriend?"
Emily hugged Howard and whispered "Yes."
