Zoe's POV

I slapped a few bills into the driver's hand as I shook it. He gave me a surprised smile and thanked me, waving to all of us as he hopped back in the limo and drove away.

Right now we're in the middle of an abandoned parking lot. We decided to ditch the driver since what we're doing is so risky.

Katie and Junior began chit chatting as if this was a class change in high school, and I cut my eyes at them.

"Guys..." I snapped. They paused mid-sentence and turned to me. I held my index finger to my mouth to shush them. I decided to ignore Katie's obvious eye roll as this was not the time for fighting.

"Psst." Bill called, waving his arm to signal us to follow him.

It's the middle of the night, freezing cold, and we're in an empty parking lot in the sketchiest part of LA.

Bill drew his gun as he led us across the parking lot and toward the front of a building that I'm assuming to be a bank. But then again it could be a liquor store.

Parked in front of the building was a black van, painted so well that I could hardly see it even when I was standing right in front of it.

Bill lifted the hood where a set of keys dangled from the top. He grabbed them and unlocked the doors, sliding them open and stepping aside for us to enter.

We all stood back with hesitancy on our faces. This wasn't a nice family van, but a huge kidnapper looking one.

"Uh, Bill..." Junior spoke. "Are you going to explain why you have this van here or..."

Bill rolled his eyes. "Get in the damn van." He ordered to all of us. "Unless you want to spend the night out here alone."

We took a second to look around before spilling into the van. It was pitch black inside, so I had to fumble my way around to find a seat. I reached for the wall and my hand met something sharp, causing me to jerk back as I winced in pain.

"What the hell was that?" I groaned.

Bill climbed in after us and pulled a chain that turned on an overhead light.

We all took our turns gasping as we stared at the objects covering the walls.

"Bill!" I shouted.

He shook his head. "It's not what it looks like...."

Out of no where Junior started giggling and clapping his hands together. "Aye, I knew you was a thug, bruh!" He laughed. "Bill got them choppas, boy. Whoo!" He exclaimed. I glared at him in dissatisfaction. "Damn, look at this one..." He said as he reached out to the wall.

I smacked his hand away. "Don't you dare..." I scolded.

I clutched my chest as I tried to fight the overwhelming feeling that came from the presence of racks of weapons lining the walls around me.

I noticed a machete near me and held up my hand. "I think I cut my hand on that."

Bill's eyes widened. "Oh, shit. Hold on, I have a first aid kit..."

I snorted. "Of course you do..."

He kneeled down next to a box and began shuffling through it. He pulled out a travel sized first aid kit and brought it over to me, using the contents to dress my wound.
