(Tiffany's view)
"Tiffany! Tiffany! Wait for me." I can hear a girl's running to me.
I turn my head and look, "Why are you in hurry?" It's Teresa, she's my classmates.
She stops in front of me, "Are you going to have lunch by yourself? How about having it with me?"
"I thought you haven't finished your class. Ok, let's go!"
Teresa is my classmate. She is an energetic and sensible girl. When I was a fresh man in Chicago University, she was the first one who talked to me. She taught me a lot in this campus, and the city too. Within a semester, we already became best friends. I always feel lucky by having her here.
The weather today is cloudy, the wind blows slowly. We go to the outside and look for a comfortable place to sit. She bought me a drink before we settle down.
"Hey! I have a big news of Ben and his lovely girlfriend! You want to hear?" She says excitly.
I open my lunch box, "Sure! Go on."
"Ben had broke up with his girfriend yesterday! It says that Tina betrayed him!" She whispers.
"Oh my, poor Ben...no wonder that he looks so depressed today."
"I know, right? I guess I'll bring him some drinks tomorrow."
After the lunch, I have to get to the next class so I say goodbye to her earlier.
"Don't forget the sociology assignments! They have to be done before tomorrow noon!" She says.
"Of course! Thanks for reminding. We can hand'em in together then."
After today's final class, I feel so tired and want to go home quickly. The campus is far from my place. I usually drive here but not today... I took the MRT instead because my car had some problems.
Ah... It's 18:00, I need coffee to energy myself, and due to the assignments deadline, it's better to stay up this night...
'WASAI' is a small but lovely coffee shop, I always go there to have a lazy afternoon time, or reading novel with a cup of latté. I do some drawings here, too. New habbits, I found that I'm good at observing others. Well... maybe my sociology professor would love to know that.
"A cup of double ice coffee, like always."
The waitress looks at me, "Staying up again?"
I give her a weak smile and nod.
Waiting for my coffee, I watch the TV on the wall. The reporter says, " According to the police man's saying, the criminal suspect had been tied up before the police's coming. Was it the Vigilante again? Or was it just a coincidence?"
I pick up my note book and write it down. I've been very curious about the man who called the Vigilante. Is he real? He's just like a superhero who rescue people from danger, but always hiding in the shadow...
"Your coffee's here!", says the waitress.
I finally get home. After taking a shower, I turn on the TV and watch the news. "The newest ctOS is coming soon! Let's update the new one to get the best service in the next..."
Oh God, why does it upgrade every time? I hate ctOS... It just makes many people's life easier and convenient. But we have to take our freedom and privacy for exchange. I'm not buying it.
I guess I'll just start working out with my assignments.
Two hours later, it's almost 23:00. I turn off the computer and rush to the bedroom. "Yes! I finish them earlier than I thought! And now... I'm gonna sleep." I fall asleep even not turn off the lights.
