(Aiden's view)

It's 20:00 p.m now.

I'm heading to the prison-- Palin Correctional Center. This center recently upgraded the place with Blume's state-of-the-art security.
Something like network locks, automated surveillance...
I hope they weren't holding the guy in an older prison, then I'll have a problem.
Luckily, they do make life easier through technology.

After parking the car, I walk to the gate. There is a arched door behind the gate, and this door can scan every weapons when someone get in.
That makes me more easier to get arrested.
Three police stand side by side, looking at me. It looks like I'm a strange man... Well, maybe they're right.
I take out a pistol and hold it on my hand, walking through the door.
The scanner device rings wantonly, and all the guards run out and push me down to the ground.

Ouch...
If they think that I can't throw them of and fight back, then they're definitely wrong.
But now I can't do that because all I need is get into the prison.

They drag me up and press me to the wall.
A police man takes away my pistol, truncheon, and phone.
They take me to a dressing room.
A guy walks to me and delivers a suit of prison clothes.
"Tell Jordi we're even now..." The guy whispers.
Under the clothes are my phone and truncheon.
I put on orange clothes and walk out.

A police man take me to another room with a camera system.
The people at the desk takes a pic of me and inputs my informations.
I use my phone behind and hack in the computer.
In order to avoiding my true ID discovered, I replace my name with Joe Smith.

They take me to the second floor and imprison me.
"Don't do anthing stupid, Smith!" A police says to me.
I don't even feel angry. Is it because that isn't my name?
I just want to fix up the thing as soon as possible...

There are two guards in every floor, so I can't go out the door directly.
There must be some security camera near by.
I can use them to find control room and unlock my prison door.
And when I go out, I can use them to grase the guards.

This building is hollow from the first floor.
In the botton of the building (1st floor) is a small open space for the prisoner.
But now it's not the time for prisoners to get out.
The control room is opposite my room.
I use my phone to hack in so I can get out.

Now I need to know the witness' location.
In here, every prisoners have their own schedule. And the schedule must be put in a list, and the list must be place on the desk in the conrol room...
Before leaving the room, I see the bed by the wall.
After finishing this mees-up, I'll take a long deep sleep.
I'm so exhausted...

I sneak out and arrive at the control room.
I search everywhere and find nothing about the schedule.
Damn. Where could it be??
There is a staircase beside the room.
Fortunately the stairs are paved with concrete, so they don't make any sound while I walk through them.
I go down to the first floor and there is another control room.
I search again and finally find out the list.
I don't know the witness' name, but it's like all the prisoners are having free time in a exercise yard now.

I call Jordi, " Jordi, I found the schedule. Where's the exercise yard?"
"Up top." He replys.
Now I want to check what's my target doing.
I have to hack in the camera on the top floor. In this way, I can find my target out...
Through the camera, I search all around the yard. I don't know his name... It makes my searching more difficult. If I remember right, this guy had his own Picasso ink all over his face. Ugly as shit... But makes him an easy mark. He's must up there somewhere.

There are some guys playing basketball, some kicking ball, and the other having chat.
So... being a criminal is more relaxed than what I imaged.
Oh, I think I find him.
He's sitting on the floor, and there are two guards talking to him. It looks like he's making trouble for himself...
I watch them talking, and then they appear to have a row.
Oh no, it goes worse. If he keeps arguing something with the guards, he'll get killed by himself.

The guards finally get mad and they punch him on his belly.
He collapses on to the floor suffering.
The guards drage him into the building...
Damn. I better reach him fast before they kill him.
I call Jordi and ask where they took him to.
"Well, there's a problem. Some guys just took our guy." I say.
"Fuck! Basement! They're in the basement." He says and hangs up.
I rush to the elevator. I must take him out immediately.
As I reach the basement, Jordi calls back to me.
"Seems there's a little crooked operation being run out of this jont. Look at you bringing justice back to the prison system." He says satirically.
"Floor is empty. Door is wide open." I pull him back to the reality. 'Cause I'm in danger now, I don't have the mood to joke with him.
"No silent alarms have gone off. Watch your back." He warns.

I enter the empty control room, and I hack in the computer.
Through the computer, I can see clearly. In the depot beside the control room, the two guards are beating that guy. Poor man...
There are other guards around the room, they all are armed.
The only way to get him out is putting my all into the fight.
Looking around, I find a electric shock stick in the shelf.
It'll gonna be a tough 'gun fight'.

I sneak into the depot.
I poke the guards one by one with the electric device, and take them down without five minutes.
When I'm ready to reach the guy, another armed guard enters the room.
I find that my electric weapon is out of power.
Shit! The guard raise the gun and aim at me. I avail myself of his fluster, I throw the stick to his face fast.
And then I rush in front of him with taking out my truncheon.
I punch his belly and then his head.
The guard falls down to the ground and cries piteously.

After checking around the room, I don't see the witness that I seek.
The escape door is open, I think he might be in there.
On the stairs, a wounded man crawling confusedly.
He probably saw me torture the guards in the depot.
"Help! Somebody!" He catches sight of me and screams.
"Relax." I comfort him first, cause I'm too exhausted right now...
"You're inside... How'd you get inside, man?" He asks me nervously.

"You know, it was pretty simple. This high tech security prison... they make it quite easy, really." I say.
He still looks scared. It's good, it seems like I don't need to make more great effort to let him know my position.
"Have we met?" I start to ask him the main question.
"...What?" He says.
"Have we met?" I try to keep my temper low and mild.
"No...no. I never seen you, man." He answers.
"Mmm... Yeah, I didn't think so." I take out my cellphone. "So, you're in here for 60 days. Good behavior and you're out in 30." I hack in and search the information of him.
He moans in a while.
"What does that say?" I change my phone direction to him.
"60 years? What are you doing, man?" He looks at the screen and starts.
'Cause I alter his prison sentence.
"I'm just showing you an alternate future-- you know, in case you get the urge to share your stories or-- make a deal with the cops. We're clear now?" I say steady.
He nods and agrees.

Suddenly, the broadcase system rings.
'All units. Possible prison escape. Be on the lookout for white male. Joe Smith.'

I leave him there and call Jordi.
"Jordi... It's done."
"Fantastic. I'm guessing you're eager to get out of there. There's a care package on its way for you." He says.
"Where?" I don't know what he mean.
"Don't worry, you'll see it." He hangs up the phone.

I go up top to the stairs, and in the very end is a laundry.
There is a bag lying on the floor, I think it might be my clothes.
I put them on and head to the escape door. Leave the station without notice.

That plan actually worked. My identity's safe. Now-- Lena's attackers. I want the one reponsible. Damien bragged about a second hacker. Someone else inside the Merlaut. I need to find out what Damien knows...

It's 22:30 p.m.
