Chapter 4

Kellin POV

..And last but not least the short little Mexican named Vic.

Wait, is that the Vic who hit me on the head? I stared at him for a bit and yup that is him.

"Hi Kellin, I didn't know you were coming to this school." Vic said.

"Yeah, I didn't know you were coming here either." I said.

"Wait you guys know each other?" Justin asked.

"Yup, we do." I said.

"How?" He asked.

"Well, I was walking around the neighborhood when I got around Vic's house he kicked the ball and hit me on the head." I said bluntly.

"Again, I'm sorry about that Kells." He said and pouted. Aww wait did he just call me Kells.

"Its okay dude, don't sweat it." I said to him.

"Well what a nice way to meet each other." Justin said and chuckled.

"You could say that." Vic said and smiled at me.

Buzz Buzz Buzz

Michelle: Hey Kellin what are you doing today?

Kelin: Hey gorgeous and I'm going out with your cousin Vic today just to hang out.

Michelle: Well how about you ditch him and go on a date with me today please.

Kellin: I don't know what if he gets mad I already told him I was going with him I can't just ditch him.

Michelle: Come on please it would mean a lot just tell him that you have a family emergency and you can't come.

Kellin: Alright only for you what time should I pick you up at 7:00?

Michelle: Yeah that's fine ill be waiting.

~End of phone conversation~

RING RING RING

"Well that's the bell I have to go to class." Vic said.

"Vic can I talk to you please?" I asked him.

"Yeah sure Kell what's up?" He asked there he goes again with that nickname he is going to be the death of me. No I am not gay, I just find him slightly attractive. What the hell I am not supposed to be having these thoughts.

"I'm really sorry but my mom told me I can't go out today because there is a family emergency." I told him. I saw his face drop and I immediately felt bad I knew I should've never told Michelle yes. Oh my god I feel so bad.

"Oh um, it's fine how about we go out tomorrow if you can?" He asked.

"Yeah that's fine I'll just ask my mom and I'll text you if she says yes" I said to him and I saw his face light up.

"Yeah that's fine, would you like me to take you to you're class?" He asked.

"Sure! I think Justin left me already." I said.

"Alright what class do you have next?" He asked.

"I have room 41." I said to him.

"Cool me too right this way." He said and we walked through the hall way.

~After School~

I am so nervous for my date tonight do I look good enough? I feel so bad because I lied to Vic but I did what I had to do, I know that was a dick move but it had to be done. It was barely 4:00 so I laid down and just started listening to music. This is what I love doing all the time listening to music. It relaxes me music is my escape. It is always there for me when I need it. I love singing but I don't think I'm good enough. My dream is to be in a band and to get a lot of fans to love me for helping them through hard times. Since my dad left me when I was younger I turned to music that was the only way I coped through the pain. I always wondered what did I do wrong for my dad not to want me. I ask myself is this my fault? Do I deserve this? I actually write songs so I wrote a song about my dad it is called "A Trophy Fathers Trophy Son". I really wish he would come back and tell me what I did wrong and why he left. It would keep me from wondering all the time. Why did he leave just like that? I dozed off after thinking about all of this.

~4 hours later~

I woke up thinking I didn't sleep for long, I checked the time and it was 7:00 already. Shit. I got up and took a quick shower. I fixed my hair and but on some black skinny jeans with a black and blue checkered flannel with a white V-neck in the bottom. I put on some axe and I was done. I looked at myself in the mirror and I looked nice for once. I got my keys and my phone and I walked down stairs. I checked my phone and I had 2 missed call from Michelle. Shit she is going to be pissed. I think I am just going to the movies with her and after we could go eat at any place.

Wait, I need her address.

Kellin: Hey I am so sorry that I am late but can you send me your address please. I am so sorry gorgeous.

Michelle: Really Kellin I thought you said 7:00 its passed 7:00 this is my address. (Insert address here)

Kellin: I know im sorry and ill be there in a bit.

Michelle: Okay 😡

~End~

I typed her address on my phone and her house was ten minutes away from here.

~10 minutes later~

I was outside of her house and I got out of the car to go get her. I rung her doorbell and a couple of seconds later she came outside she looked beautiful. She had on a casual dress. Which is good because we are not going anywhere fancy.

"You look beautiful." I said to her and kissed her on the cheek.

"I know." She said and winked at me, well okay then.

"Let's go we are going to the movies and then I will take out to eat sound good." I said.

"Yeah that's fine but can we watch the hunger games I heard it's good?" She asked.

"Yeah sure." I said. I opened her car door and then walked around to get to my side. I opened my car and started up the engine. I wonder how this is going to go.

Vic's Point of View

BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ

Alex: Hey dude you want to go out tonight

Vic: Yeah sure dude who is coming and where are we going.

Alex: I was thinking the movies and I was going to invite the guys even Kellin.

Vic: Oh kellin told me earlier today that his mom wouldn't let him go out today because of a family emergency.

Alex: Alright then ill see in a bit ill come and pick you up

Vic: OK ill se you in a bit.

I got up and went to take a quick shower. I straitened my hair and put on some black skinnies and a black MCR tee.

RING RING RING

"Hello"

"Vic I'm outside"

"Okay I'll be there in a bit"

"Okay"

~END of phone conversation~

I got my phone and my keys and I walked outside. I don't think my parents are here so I didn't say bye. Alex's car was outside and none of the guy were in there. I thought they were going. I guess he understood my facial expression so he answered, "The guys are taking their own cars."

"Oh okay" I said.

"Well let's go" He said and blasted MCR. We got to the movies and all the guys were there. We all chose to watch the hunger games. We got our tickets and walked inside to get our seats.

~After Movie~

"Well that was interesting" Alex said.

"Yeah it was." I said.

"Hey Vic isn't that Kellin over there with your cousin? " Alex asked.

"What?" I asked and looked over where he was pointing at. It was Kellin I can't believe he ditched me for my cousin. What an ass, I walked over where he was at and tapped his shoulder. He turned to look and his eyes widened.

"Vic?" He said and gasped.

"Yeah Kellin this looks like a family emergency." I said to him.
