Ali's POV
"That's it for today." Mr. Snyder announces. We had a little bit of homework, reading thirty pages and writing an essay on it. It was due on Friday so I still had all week to work on it. As soon as we were dismissed, the gorgeous girl in the back of the classroom quickly exited. I slowly made my way out of the classroom, heading up to my dorm room. I turn on my tv and find Fox Sports 1 so I can watch MLS soccer. I still have twenty minutes until the game starts so I head to the mini fridge in the corner of my room. My parents had bought me tons of groceries before leaving, so I decide to make lunch. I grab my purple water bottle and fill it up with 32 ounces of water while I wait for my bread to come out of the toaster. I wash a tomato and a cucumber and cut them up. Then I cut an avocado in half and spread half of the avocado on one piece of toast before placing the tomato and cucumber on top. Then I sprinkle a little bit of salt and pepper on top and cover it with the other piece of toast, before taking a seat on my bed to eat as the game began. I was completely focused on the soccer game for the whole game.
Yes! 3-1! I guess I should start reading considering I just spent the last two hours watching soccer. Right as I open up to the right page and get comfortable on my bed, the electric guitar blasts through the walls. I roll my eyes and try to focus on what I am reading but I can't. I grab my book and head out of the building. I walk around campus for a while until I spot a tree. I sit against the tree and begin reading.
I finally finished reading after seventy minutes. I stand up and walk back inside. The guitar was no longer playing. I wondered what time they stopped playing. oh well, at least i got some fresh air, I think to myself. I arrive at my dorm room and place my book on my bed and then quickly change into a pair of Nike shorts and a Nike sports bra. I put on my running shoes, grab my phone, and then head out.
I jogged around campus, jogging 3.8 miles. I had spotted a field on the left side of campus. I plan on going to play soccer out there tomorrow afternoon after class. I have class at eight in the morning again and soccer practice at 5pm tomorrow. I take a shower since I'm a little sweaty after my run and then braid my hair and change into a pair of sweatpants and an old Nike shirt. I call my mom to say goodnight before setting my alarm clock on my phone. As soon as I turn the light off, the guitar starts playing again, even louder than yesterday. I was exhausted and I would have to start my essay right after class and then head to practice, so I really needed to sleep. I toss and turn for about forty minutes until the talented musician stops playing. I don't waste any time falling asleep.
