Greyson's P.O.V

"So what do you want to do tonight then...?" asked Louise.

"Hm, not sure, do you want to stay up all night, and have a midnight feast? Like we used to?"

"Sure," she replied, smiling

We just talked for the rest of the night and mucked about being the best friends we used to, like we never fell out. At about 4 in the morning there was a few loud crashes downstairs and Louise started to freak out. "It's okay, it's probably just your cat knocking a lamp or something over," I soothed, wrapping my arms around her tightly, never wanting to let go.

"What if it's not, I don't even know where Jasper is, I actually think my gran was looking after him since he isn't well. Unless, mom brought him back whilst we've been up here, which I doubt," She cried quietly.

"Do you want me to go see what it was?" I asked.

"No, 'cause something might happen to you, like you might get injured, kidknapped or k-k-killed and I don't want that," She sniffed, her tears still pouring down onto my t-shirt and then mubbled something else that sounded like she was saying "I wouldn't be able to live without you."

"Well how else are we going to find out what's happening?" I questioned, getting up and reluctantly letting go of her. "I'll be right back, I promise," I whispered, heading towards her bedroom door. I walked quietly out into the dark hallway, heading for the top of the stairs. As I reached the top, I saw a person in a black hoodie dart out of the door, not bothering to close it, with a big, full bag. I waited a minute before sneaking down to see what happened. Nothing wrong in the downstairs hallway, I opened the bathroom door, nothing wrong in there either, maybe nothing happened. I opened the living room door, and mouth nearly dropped to the floor. The big floor lamp was smashed, so was the TV and mirror. All phones, and expensive electrical things taken, I just hope Louise had her phone upstairs with her to call the police. I walked around the living room to see what else was damaged or left undamaged. I thought everything was until I saw a photo album almost tucked under the sofa. I picked it up and flicked through the unharmed pages. I was astonished, almost every single page was of me and Louise, it was the present I gave her five years ago, and each year for her birthday I've given her more photos to add to it. I can't believe she kept it all this time. I quickly checked the perfect looking kitchen, still holding onto the album and I crept back upstairs to tell Louise. I hesitated as I opened the door to see her with a worried expression spread across her face.

"What happened?!" She queried as she saw me walked into the room, still with a stunned expression on my face.

"Um. Everything i-i-in the l-living room is, is..." I paused for a second. "Destroyed or stolen, except for this," I finished, slowly handing her the album.

"W-w-what!?" She screamed, heading for her door.

I grabbed her arm and turned her around."You don't want to go down there, just call the police on your phone, you have it up here right?" I voiced pulling her into my arms whilst I called the police since she couldn't talk, just cry. By the time they arrived she had calmed down and we were waiting downstairs for them, my arms still around her. 'What a great night this turned out to be' I thought sacastically to myself.
