As Cheryl and Simon browsed through a large collection of male clothing, Simon was stunned to see that no paparazzi were in sight. While they were driving to the shop, Cheryl put on a hat to disguise herself, but Simon thought that it was pointless because those dimples of hers were a dead giveaway.

At least she tried.

Simon on the other hand refused to wear a cap over his square haircut. As a bit of a narcissist, he actually quite liked the attention, but for Cheryl's sake he was glad that they were left in peace.

"So now that I'm made aware of your secret passageway for leaving the house without any attention, you better start being nicer to me or I'll run a blueprint to all the papers in town." Simon declared righteously.

Cheryl opened her mouth wide. "You wouldn't!"

"Try me."

"Oh I'll do more than try you Mr. Cowell. You do it and you're a goner. You'll never see sunlight again!" She proclaimed fiercely.

Simon couldn't help but laugh at her ferociousness. "You're lucky you're cute otherwise I'd show you a piece of my mind."

"Aye, and then I'll show you a piece of mine and we'll see who's having the last laugh." Cheryl challenged.

"Sounds like a plan."

"Good." Cheryl said haughtily.

"Besides, I'll take any piece of you I can get." Simon added with a flirtatious wink.

Cheryl wasn't sure how to respond to his flirting. She didn't want to lead him on, but then again a little mindless flirting wouldn't do any harm right?

Right!

Wait, no. Cheryl almost forgot about his girlfriend. This was just all too wrong. She really didn't think that Simon was the type to flirt with other woman while he was in a relationship. It actually made her kind of sick to the stomach.

Instead of responding, Cheryl reached for a black collared button-up shirt and handed it over to Simon.

"Try this on. I think it would suit you well."

"Now wait a minute here. Is this shopping trip going to be Democratic or are you just going to order me around like a dog?"

Cheryl pretended to think about it for a moment.

She put a finger to her chin. "Well let's see, considering you have no fashion sense whatsoever, I vote for second option and I'm sure Buster would agree with me. So 2 for 1, I win. Now go and try it on before I put it on for you!"

Simon raised an eyebrow and grinned mischievously. "And that would be bad because...?"

Cheryl rolled her eyes and hit him hard on the shoulder. "Oh just go on!"

Simon laughed in pure enjoyment at their little banter. He loved to push her buttons and it was just way too easy to irritate her.

While in the dressing room, Simon took off his t-shirt, well Cheryl's t-shirt, and carefully placed it on the bench. He promised her that he would take care of it and he never broke a promise.

He slipped on the black button up shirt and evened out the collar before looking at himself in the mirror. Surprisingly, he didn't look half bad at all. In fact, he's never seen himself look better. For once, he dared say that he actually looked well groomed. If he continued at this rate, he could probably retire his febreze collection in no time.

Simon opened the dressing room door and looked for Cheryl to ask for her opinion. As he searched around the room, he finally saw her standing around the corner, conversing with a tall handsome man with an athletic physique.

Although he shouldn't have been eavesdropping, he couldn't help but listen into their conversation.

The Abercrombie looking model flashed a dazzling smile and stuck out his hand to introduce himself. Cheryl slipped her petite hand into his large one.

"Hi, I'm Damien." He said in a deep husky voice.

"Cheryl" She said curtly.

"Yeah I know." He said, looking slightly abashed. "You'd have to be living under a rock to not know who you are. I'm a big fan of yours by the way."

"Aww thank you Damien." Cheryl replied genuinely like the sweetheart she was. "I'm always happy to meet fans."

Damien gave her another smile before catching Simon's glare from about five feet away. His smile faded and he actually looked truly scared for a brief moment.

"Well I should probably get going. It has been an absolute pleasure meeting you" Damien said. "I hope to see you around sometime." He added timidly.

"And you." Cheryl said in return before Abercrombie boy walked away.

Simon rolled his eyes and scoffed at their interaction. To be honest, Simon thought that he was an all around decent bloke, but that's what annoyed him. He seemed to be the kind of guy that would be a perfect match for Cheryl, and seeing him only reminded him of how old he was and how faintly less good-looking he was. It was times like these when he realized that Cheryl couldn't possibly fancy him. Not in a million years.

As Cheryl watched him walk out of the store, she couldn't help but think about how gorgeous he was. At first glance, she thought that he would be yet another one of those arrogant men who used horrible pickup lines, but this Damien guy seemed different. He was slightly shy and unsure of himself and Cheryl found it quite sweet.

Before thinking too much into it, she made her way towards the men's dressing room to check on Simon. The day was starting to pick up, and for some unexplainable reason, Cheryl had a feeling that today was going to be an amazing day.
