PART 1
0942

What is she doing?! He thought as he repeatedly pressed the lift button. He could only watch helplessly as the numbers above ascended then got to 'p'. Why was she going back up there? Is she stupid? When he sees her. He's going to handcuff her to a chair, a foldable one so it's harder to move.

Tory punched the space above the lift panel in frustration, making everybody in the surrounding vicinity jump in surprise and fear. And he still needed to see Ms. Colliens, which made him late by, he looked down at his watch. 9:42. 12 minutes. Percy was going to be onto him and he would have to do 100 press-ups and 1000 hops on one leg.

Percy ran a tight ship and if the CEO didn't allow tardiness in his company, he shouldn't be a hypocrite and be late as well, which made him introduce his rule of conduct. If someone in the company is late, they get a mark on their card. Kind of like a strike one. If they get more than five, they get two days taken off their holiday and nobody wants that if you've been given that privilege of having a long holiday.

The lift finally came back down to the ground floor and opened, letting out a group of prior which he stared at, well glared at until the lift was empty. He stepped in and pressed the alarm button three times in quick succession. The lift seemed to power down until the floor panels lit up. Tory pressed for the penthouse office once then typed in the code.

2 5 8 9 3 6 1 9 4 3 2 0

The code seemed to activate the lift and it began to move faster than it usually does. It was better than getting a private elevator, because it meant that the CEO was no less different than the people he hired. Although, he did have his own lift, but it was only linked to his garage then directly to his office when he had an emergency meeting to get to or that he had to get away from the building really quickly. Percy ha installed the private lift as a safety factor because even some of their business deals don't go right. Only the people that messed with him knew that he was always strapped, no matter the circumstances. There were only two times that he had shot and five times where he only showed but it proved a vital point to the people that tried to mess with him. Despite his cool exterior, sometimes he was serious and businesslike.

The lift doors opened and all Tory saw was Percy standing by his open office door, arms crossed as in frustration at him coming really late and if he looked past him, he could see a woman sitting in one of his office chairs, her back towards him so he couldn't see how the elusive Ms. Colliens looked like and if she looked like the forgiving type. After all, it was all because he helped a woman that he was late. Well, a woman that had seemed to run off before he even knew her name.

Tory moved towards Percy and stopped in front of him. Percy looked like he wanted to bash his head against a wall or something, or even just sit down and let him be. He looked disappointed in him, it technically wasn't his fault about him being late.

"So what's the excuse now Tory? Another traffic jam on the ground floor?"

"Hey!," he shouted out, "It actually wasn't my fault this time! I was going to get here early and then I was on the lift. Then some woman challenged me and....."

In the corner of his eye, he could see this woman stiffen and freeze. What's got her panties in a twist?

".... and then she had a panic attack so we went to the ground floor and I tried to help her but she took the lift back up......"

Again Tory drifted off when the woman in the office turned around and faced him. He couldn't place her, when had he seen her from? It clicked in a second in his brain and obviously for the woman as well.

"You!"

"You!"
